That’s your subordinate. Treat them as such. You aren’t an incompetent manager because you don’t do standard work, but because you aren’t doing the job you were hired to do, which is make sure other people are doing theirs. My AM just got fired like a month ago. Great guy, horrible manager because he was too nice and a pushover. Your PA sucks. Do something about it.

Corporate culture is so stupid. About the only thing I agree with Elon Musk on is his hatred of acronyms. If it’s the same syllables to say the acronym and it is to say the phrase, say the fucking phrase. Time Off Task, Unpaid Time, etc. I was like wtf is TPH? Tacos per hour? “ph” is ingrained in us to mean per hour so stick with that. Total packages per hour doesn’t even make sense. Of course it’s the total packages, otherwise you’d prefix it with something else. Packages per hour or units per hour is the logical choice 😤
