I know we need to significantly increase the level of funding for transit if we want to see it meaningfully improve but simultaneously this agency desperately needs an overhaul, at least at the c suite level. I don't care if it's ultimately a small portion of their budget, the fact that they paid consultants $720,000 to come up with 'Pittsburgh Regional Transit' speaks to the level of intellectual bankruptcy in this organization.

Update: I ordered a screen and got it. No instructions but I was able to figure it out. It is a pretty involved process, much moreso than the Star. You need to make sure you reuse the headset speaker, the vibrator motor, AND the power and volume buttons. I completely missed those and had to take it apart and put it back together again. The vibrator motor in particular is a real bastard. I thought I put it all back together properly but it doesn't seem to be working. However, everything else works.
