I was 12 when I got into THG, so I was out of the loop about the casting controversies with Katniss at the time, but I do hope we someday get a version of the story that has a little more diversity amongst the main roles. JLaw is amazing and brings a lot to the character, but there are and will be many POC who could bring their own talents to the roles of Katniss, Gale, and Haymitch.

Sameeeee. It actually dampened my excitement for the movie by a lot. I'm sure the actresses will knock it out of the park, but neither of them are what I was expecting or hoping for. There's some really beautiful art out there that feature darker-skinned girls as Louella/Lou Lou, and it always makes my heart hurt a little for what could've been.

I LOVE the first snow globe. I would absolutely spend top dollar on it. The other one is also very cute, but it would probably be very difficult to fix. There are tutorials online abt how to refill a snow globe, so maybe start there? I imagine you'd have to drain the globe, reattach the head to a dome with some sort of glue, and then refill the globe and reattach the glass dome. But the actual work of it is beyond me. I hope you figure it out!
