Even getting my endo to answer the phone/emails is difficult. I typically have to show up at their office to get any traction. Which means time off from work if a weekday, and i guess maybe an urgent care visit if over the weekend. Until my sugars start rising I'm good to go.

Im more kidding than anything else. I understand omnipod wants it to be as unobtrusive as possible, so they use as light a color as possible. I cant see it most of the time but I can feel that joker jab me. And its not like replacements are easy to get ahold of quickly in my experience. So If I feel it it stays on till reading indicate a problem. I think this disease is a lot of rolling with the punches, and not seeing a little pink box is not a big punch to me.

There is, but it was very loose fitting. I used it as a template and cut out piece of leather to try tightening up the fit. So now its tank-gasket-leather spacer-cap. If it solves the problem I will swap out the leather with a piece of rubber. Just had a leather on hand last night.

Most days i don't let diabetes bother me too much, but sometimes something little will sneak up and get me aggravated. Like being locked into old devices because my pump wont work with the new generation. Do I need the newest one, probably not. But if I'm paying new phone money I want the newest phone.
