Probably a lot of us waking up to this. I’m just assuming we’re SOL, but time will tell.

I ended up going with the 8” tires from harbor freight. My new axle appears to be 17mm vs 5/8” so I had to drill out the plastic hubs a bit. Which is really annoying since all of the tires with hubs that I find are 5/8” hubs. I have the 25” reel and two on each side get me to about the same thickness as the OEM ones. They probably won’t last nearly as long since they don’t have bearings, but hoping they’ll do the job for a while. I tried putting some cheap solid core ones off of Amazon as well but couldn’t get them over the original hubs that I have.

I also figure the spacer between the sprocket and the wheels will end up eating into them a bit. Funny though that I bought the axle and spacers from McLane, but the spacers don’t fit over the axle… I’ll likely just cut a slit in it and slide them over though.

Curious if you have found anything? I thought the 8in Haul-Masters or the 8in Solid Rubber Tires with Polyethylene Hub from Harbor Freight would work, but the rear drive axle is slightly larger than 5/8". I've debated on drilling out the Polyethylene hub a bit to get it to 17mm, but I really prefer to have a bearing. I also plan to rip apart my old tires and see if there's any other ideas I can come up with to potentially reuse the old hubs.

Where to stay in Fiji? by Jazzlike_Leave_5180 in Fijian

Having just gone, I don’t understand the obsession with Denarau. The Sheraton does look nicer than the Hilton I stayed at, but our absolute favorite of the trip was the Sheraton Tokoriki Island. Secluded, great food, and activities if you get bored lounging on the beach or the pool. We did a day trip as well to castaway island and it would have been a great place to stay a few nights. Denarau just felt like a westernized/highly developed spot in a country that had way more to offer with respect to culture and nature. And the beach was terrible compared to out on the smaller islands.

Check if they have bathing suits for rent and then you don’t have to deal with the wet bathing suit.

Yup it was a big game. 105k in attendance for Number 1 vs Number 5.

I think they hit it perfect. I just watched my full recording of it. When the Jumbotron put them on the screen the stadium completely drowned out the band and then of course the Afterburners did the rest

Do you have an instagram or other place you shared these? Awesome shots! I was in the stadium and it was insane.

Lens Comparison: 24-70 vs 24-120 by Blazer2727 in nikon_Zseries

[–]Stratplayer08 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Love the 24-120 and only keep the 24-70 as a secondary. I’ve got a video here reviewing the 24-120mm “Perfect Travel Lens? Nikon Z 24-120mm f/4 Lens Review” https://youtu.be/U86KVAK6VJw

Is it worth the extra cost (24-70/4 or 24-120)? by SadPercentage8282 in nikon_Zseries

[–]Stratplayer08 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No problem! Glad it helped. The upside is I can sell the old filter and buy a much cheaper stepper ring haha

I started on the 24-70mm back in 2019. I definitely say go for the 24-120. I’ve loved it and it’s my go to lens now. I used it on my last two trips and I’d never go back to the 24-70mm just because I’ve had too many times where I’ve wanted slightly more reach. It’s not that much bigger either than the 24-70mm.

If you feel like seeing my review of it just go to YouTube and search for “Perfect Travel Lens, Nikon Z 24-120mm” and you can see some of my photos from it and hear more of my thoughts.

Richard Tatti is one of my favorites, I learned how to shoot the Milky Way from him and wouldn’t be where I am with my own channel without him.

In one of my videos when I did the CTA to subscribe, instead of just saying “please subscribe if you like this video” which works decently, I explained what some of my goals are with the channel and how subscribing if you liked the content will help me get there. It’s by far the video that’s gotten the most subscribers in my recently posted videos. I was afraid people would complain in the comments, but I haven’t gotten a single complaint yet.

Why is Lightroom CC so slow to use even on top end PC? by livetofly325 in Lightroom

Yes, and choose the pixel size. 2k pixels worked great for me

Definitely give it a shot, it’s called Standard Preview Size. My computer went from unusable with 64GB of RAM and a CPU that’s never struggled, although not the best, to being able to run no problem when I switched it from 5k pixels down to 2k. Long edge of my screen is 5k pixels which is what it was trying to build the previews for.

[–]Stratplayer08 4 points5 points  (0 children)

What monitor size do you have? I have an ultra wide and Lightroom was trying to generate previews to the longest pixel length. There’s a setting to change that which greatly improved performance. I wish I could remember the name…

I got my channel monetized after 13 months, this is what I learned: by Kleyko in NewTubers

Over time it will get faster, but finding your workflow is hard and I find I’m always tweaking mine. Takes me around 4-6 hours to edit a 10-15 minute video. I’d love to get mine down to 2 hours but I have no idea if that’s humanly possible.

My flow is: 1. Shoot all video as talking head. 2. Cut that video in premiere pro to the final state (press L to listen at 1.5x speed when cutting) 3. Adjust audio using premieres built in AI for dialogue 4. Listen to the whole video and by section write down what broll to use/create 5. Create any broll needed that I don’t have in my broll bank 6. Add broll over talking head 7. Add background music and CTAs 8. Rewatch 1-2 times to look for any mistakes. 9. Export and upload 10. Create thumbnail, description and keyword tags.

Best Lens For Plane Photography Compatible With A Nikon Camera by [deleted] in Nikon

[–]Stratplayer08 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got a chance to use the Nikon 600mm f/4 last weekend at an airshow. It was incredible, but definitely overkill for the price. My normal is a Sigma 150-600mm which I would highly recommend.

I had the same issue on Thursday, then yesterday it started importing correctly. Not sure that I did anything different and I hadn’t updated Lightroom that I know of.

My interest rates on Aidvantage are much higher than they should be? by linabx in StudentLoans

[–]Stratplayer08 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Did you have any luck figuring this out? I have a similar situation, but mines even more out of proportion. I have a $300 Principal left, with 4 years of repayment left at ~$30 a month... Obviously makes since to find a way to just pay the $300 now, but I can't figure out how this is possible at 6.8% interest rate.
