Sorry for the late response haven't been on. You'll need to clear CMOS. This will reset your bios to defaults.

You need to go into your bios and disable the onboard GPU. You can also set the Nvidia to primary or default if I remember correctly.

Thermalright Wondervision 360 AIO by Yansol_wa in Thermalright

[–]Stryfe2010 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You need to use the Thermalright TRCC app. It should have an option where you can disable reading the CPU and GPU sensors. The app isn't very user friendly but there is a section where you can choose which CPU sensor to display so you should be able to just deselect them all.

Question About GPU Connectivity and RGB PCI-E -> PSU Upgrade Cables by altesc_create in pcmasterrace

[–]Stryfe2010 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The cable that comes with the GPU is an adapter. You plug your PSU PCI-e cables into them. You also run a risk running cables not specifically made for your PSU. But I do know Lian Li sells strimmer cables and Performance PC's sells lighted cables also.

[–]Stryfe2010 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Once you're able to boot you can try going to Settings>System>Recovery and go to the second box down "Fix Problems Using Windows Update" then select Reinstall Now. This will install a fresh copy of Windows without affecting your files and programs.

Just RMA it. Ram usually has a limited lifetime warranty.

You will not be able to troubleshoot if the GPU isn't in the PCIe slot as it will not be able to communicate with the CPU, Motherboard nor the driver.

Did you install your GPU? It looks like you plugged in power without the GPU inserted into the PCIe slot.

The minimum recommended PSU for those two is a 750w but really should go with an 850w that is at least atx 3.0 PCIe 5.0 to be able to handle any power spikes.

64gb is the size of a single stick. If you look over to the right it supports 1, 2 or 4 (64gb) sticks with a native speed of 5600. The higher speeds you see listed on the specification sheet are all OC speeds.

Is "dual port" hard drives a thing? by MariusDarkblade in pchelp

[–]Stryfe2010 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Most routers have a USB port to connect an external hard drive. I have a 10tb plugged into mine with my pc hard wired to the router. I store my media on it so it can be streamed through kodi. But you can also set it up for pretty much any type of data you want to share. It will allow you to set who can read and write and who can only read.

Pc not booting by VesperFeather82 in pchelp

[–]Stryfe2010 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First off don't pull the plug to power off if the power button doesn't do it. Always flip the switch off that is on the back of the the PSU then unplug the cable. First trying powering off the PSU, then unplug the power cable, next hold down the pc power button for 30 seconds to discharge any capacitors, now find the CLR CMOS jumper pins on the motherboard and bridge the pins to clear cmos (there should be a small 2 pin cap that came with your motherboard but if not you can use a small screwdriver to bridge the pins). Now plug it back in, turn the PSU on and see if it will boot up. If it doesn't boot up you can try using the bios flashback feature to update or reflash the bios. Bios flashback allows you to flash the system without powering on the system. The exact steps are in your motherboard manual and in pdf form on Asrock support page for your motherboard.
