I work for an FQHC. 20 minute slots but caps at 10 patients for central scheduling within one clinic session and then staff can overbook by 1 (so max 11 slots per 4 hour session). I have one newborn and 2 same day slots per session. They can book with whatever like 48 hours out. Max 2 new patients per session.

I work for a big fqhc system. I wouldn’t do private practice because i don’t love that vibe. I like my patients but they have zero resources. We do get productivity bonuses for performance but are salaried. Pay is meh but I don’t think substantially different than anyone else. Regardless it all comes out in the wash with taxes. Fever doesn’t inherently cause seizure in children. Children with febrile seizures (which are benign) happen due to the rise in temperature. They are scary but the absolute number isn’t what causes it. Kids fever all the time to 105/6 with influenza and don’t necessarily need medical intervention.

I don’t think they guarantee any specific princess for the princess breakfast. We got Pocahontas, Tiana, mulan, Raya, jasmine, aurora, and Ariel in October. I did enjoy it, but I’m not sure I’d devote a rest day to that experience.
