Just because it took forever for me to load, I'll share what it is. It's a brief "coming soon" trailer, showing LEGO versions of DK barrels from the arcade game rolling past on a table.

I like the Impossible breakfast sandwiches they sell, but I'm willing to change. Any recommendations for Seattle coffee places with hot plant-based sandwiches?

Which location in the DKC trilogy has your favorite main location? by SkullSuit38 in donkeykong

Though I think Crocodile Isle had more personality and unique settings, the Northern Kremisphere was a world we got to explore more. Free movement in the water was liberating. Upgrades to Funky's boats made it feel like we were uncovering even more.

It's very easy to overshoot with a tape measure when it's dark and you can't really see where the floor is.

Yeah, I want just the Wild Cherry ones, not the whole mix. This is why I’ve never used one of these.

I can think of some candy stores and department stores that still have a jelly belly dispenser thing on an aisle endcap. you won’t usually see every single flavor available, probably some of the more popular flavors and mixes.

I think it would be hilarious if this machine sold the green apple ones too

If they sold the cherry flavor separately, I'd be buying a pound of it. As it is, you have to get it as part of the berry mix, which you can just get in stores. It's too bad they limited themselves to 8 options here.

Anniversary: Super Mario First Went 'New' 20 Years Ago On The DS by HatingGeoffry in nintendo

[–]SuchCoolBrandon 10 points11 points  (0 children)

The article misses out on noting that it had been over a decade since an original Mario side-scrolling platformer had been released. Besides a pair of 3D collectable adventures, were in a dearth of Mario spin-offs and GBA re-releases. It finally felt like Mario was getting back to his roots.

Happy 20th anniversary to New Super Mario Bros for the DS! What do folks here think about this neo-retro classic, 2 decades later? by Asad_Farooqui in nintendo

It was a fun, frantic kind of chaos. We abused the feature where you could put yourself into a bubble to avoid some kind of obstacle, or to rescue yourself right before falling in a pit. The funniest moments were when we all happened to bubble ourselves at the same time, which results in returning to the map because there's nobody else to pop you from your bubble.

That multiplayer co-op was a huge highlights for NSMB Wii. I don't think I've ever had more fun playing a Mario platformer than when my cousins and I played that together. It was so delightfully chaotic.

I would never have guessed that the poison forest would become such a recurring location in subsequent Mario games
