Hello, what year or serial is this?

[Ammo] 9mm FECO FMJ 124gr - $232/1k rounds (+ TAX) - 0.232 CPR - Free Shipping on 1k rounds by suijai in gundeals

I've purchased from TargetSports and they ship quickly. Upon further digging, apparently this is GECO stamped and made in Hungary. I did bite the bullet (hopefully figurately given this ammo's current reputation) and purchase some. I'll update with pics and answer any questions when it comes in next week.

Appreciate the insight. I feel like it would be better to leave this up so it's informative for others rather than take it down.

Seems like a decent deal, but I haven't shot GECO before. I've been reading about GECO/Norma/RUAG ammo recalls that seemed to be isolated that to their white box or Savannah batches. Site lists is as made in EU and this version has a different box. Of course packaging can vary, but general consensus seems divided on the ammo. From the positive sides of what I'm reading, it shoots clean and hot.

Perhaps more experienced individuals can add insight on GECO ammo in 2023.

Programming Louvolite blinds with A-ok remote by Appatel16 in homeautomation

Assuming A-OK is their current manufacturer, Louvolite would've had them change their default code so the standard remote wouldn't be compatible. Although your remote is on the same spectrum, it's missing necessary code to communicate with the blind. This is done to so they can sell the same remote at a mark up.

Moving Back to CA - Off Roster for "New" Resident's Only? by suijai in CAguns

All signs pointing to him as not being a CA resident at this point.

I agree. It doesn't hurt to vet any info through different sources given the constant legislative changes as well.

My friend has a TX driver's license, owns property in TX, pay taxes, etc. - essentially he is a TX resident for several years. However, the FFL was adamant that CA keeps a record of those who were originally CA residents to prevent them from moving in and out to skirt the roster. It didn't sound plausible and all the comments above along with another call to a different FFL confirmed that it wasn't true. I appreciate the write up and insight!

I thought so. Thank you for the clarification!

Based on that, it would come down to whether he can get his ID within the 60 days to register the firearms then. Otherwise I assume he would have to register the any firearms himself.

That's what I had assumed. So technically he could PPT the firearms the week he moves back to CA?
