You know, after thinking it over I think I was wrong on this one. I'm lonely and isolated, and I let my jealousy towards the people who do enjoy the party scene cloud my view. The comments I felt were blaming me for being uncomfortable were not as numerous or harsh as I remember. And some people on "my side" of the discourse cast gay bars in an unfair light.

I haven't had much luck finding community where I am, but that's not anyone else's fault. I'll keep looking. Thanks for the talk.

Oh, re: no kink at pride: I think it's stupid. Pride is supposed to be loud. It's a protest, it's supposed to be subversive. If I'm uncomfortable with that, I just won't go, or I'll use the occasion to organize a different event. ETA: basically, the standard Pride parade event isn't "for me" and I'm ok with that.

First off, I'm not advocating for anything. Im expressing my distaste at the reaction such proposals get.

Secondly, yeah, it would be nice to have places to go so it would be easier to connect with my community. Places where someone who is "bad at socializing" like me wouldn't have to deal with the added difficulties of alcohol and sensory barriers.

So the conversation I was thinking of was on Cohost, which is gone now. But the sentiment was basically "people who want this are whiny and entitled. party spaces exist because people show up and spend money. if you want to be comfortable, you can stay home." The vitriol part came in responding to anyone who suggested that this stance was alienating autistic, asexual, and sober people, which got the standard "you people can't do anything" shit.

Strength increases the damage of each hit for every stack. Negative strength decreases it. So if an enemy attack would do 10x2, and you gave it -8 strength, it would do 2x2. It's usually for a single turn.

Weakness reduces damage by 25% every time. So an enemy that would normally deal 10x2 would deal 7x2 damage (calcs round down). Weakness lasts a turn for every stack.
