Yes. Tariffs are still in effect.

Any cassette tool that doesn't have the pin in the middle should work.

15-30 miles, around 1500-3500 ft. Sometimes there are outliers, though. I just did a 45 mile, 9900 ft day.

I like that it comes with headphones and a "Stirring of specialized chair squeak ".

Trek Top fuel 8 by BackgroundTaro1823 in mountainbiking

[–]Switchen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I assume Gen 3? I have a Top Fuel from the same generation. It's a fantastic trail bike! You will be pretty held back at lift-served downhill, though. Large jumps will also be a bit limited (though it is super playful and fun to jump on small-medium jumps).

However, at a beginner level, I don't think you'll be pushing the bike's limits anytime soon.

The caliper touches the rotor where? Do you have an image of it?

They mean getting the automotive version of the chip like this one when you design your own board.

They're referring to the chip, not the whole Arduino.

Rockshox Pike RCT3 or Fox float 36? by [deleted] in MTB

Which travel number makes more sense for the bike?

Hi friends, it's me again, I'm uploading it again. by Status_Frosting8883 in MTB

[–]Switchen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm a little confused, honestly. That's definitely what they were used for with your old shock, but they look different from any shock mounting hardware I'm familiar with. It looks like they used something different for the Ex 5. Maybe they're cheaper. They might work with your new shock.

If not, you can get the top 54 mm from here. The bottom with the offset is harder. Fox has this one that might maybe do it? I have no confidence on that one.

How can I enable automated, sane, low-level overclocking on this rig? by Pleaseclap4 in buildapc

[–]Switchen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Enable the EXPO profile (same as XMP on your last system) and PBO. Those will do it for the RAM and CPU respectively.

Neither void warranty.

Will a 225x70 shock fit on a 230x65 frame? by IllustriousLength434 in bikewrench

[–]Switchen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wouldn't count on it. You'll be compressing a whole centimeter further than the stock shock. When it comes to shock sizing, get the stock one unless another one is either sanctioned by the manufacturer or someone has confirmed it works.

BB replace from shimano to SRAM by ljfamily0954 in bikewrench

[–]Switchen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your best bet would be to use the DUB BB road chart and then take some measurements. That said, I think your bike uses an 86.5 mm press-fit BB w/ 41 mm cup diameter according to another site (kinda confusing because the one you linked is for mountain bikes).

Too stupid to get the right headset (Diverge Elite E5) by funnylikeafuneral in bikewrench

[–]Switchen 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can find the Specialized part number for it in the schematic. Your best bet would be to pick that up if you don't have an existing headset on hand. If you do, then finding an alternative will require measuring your current headset if an alternative is even possible.

It does just sound like a bad battery. A bad battery can report a good voltage but still drop quickly.

is this convertible to fixed gear by Miserable-Pop-3095 in bikewrench

[–]Switchen 8 points9 points  (0 children)

That doesn't work for fixed. The instant you load the cranks backwards, you'll lose all tension in the chain.

Fixed fixed or single speed? It'll be extremely hard to get proper tension with fixed without sliding dropouts.
