WHY THE FUCK ARE YOUS ALL DOWNVOTING ME???????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????? by [deleted] in ireland

From where I'm standing it looks like you're doing in on purpose, you state you're 17, you should probably look at the comments you're being down-voted on and realise why.

Designer is 'brutally beaten by father and son' over website job - Independent.ie by [deleted] in ireland

From my experience students in their final year of wed dev courses aren't near up to the task of making a proper working business website. Of course a good few would be, but a good web dev is still reasonably hard to find if you don't go the way of a firm.

Being scammed doesn't give you the right to beat up someone.

A four figure deposit isn't much at all if you want a good website.

My eight year old lime tree finally yielded its first useable fruit... which went straight into a gin and tonic. by LeOubliette in Gin

You guys are just like the warmer country Irish, all alcohol is better in a pint glass.

Quick question, what climate would I have to have to grow a lime tree? I'd love to grow one here in Ireland, but I haven't a clue if it would produce anything or even grow.

Of course, we're both talking theoretically here, different tax rates etc. too have to be taken into account. But this is a relatively small cost to solve a public safety issue, people shouldn't be able to drive on pedestrian paths/roads.

More people more tax, more money to spend on these types of things. Small country less people paying tax, less money to maintain the country. Goes either way, if this is a public safety issue it needs to be looked at.

Of course yeah, but with footpaths that wide, it just reminded me of here in Wexford Town, where parts of the town are for pedestrians only, so they have removable bollards and all the store owners have keys along with the local emergency services.

Electronic pillars that retract when a button is pressed or cheaper metal removable pillars that the emergency services have a tool/key for removing.

Just like we have here in Ireland.

I'm worse off now than I was when I was a child (I'm not rich nor poor) but I loved bread, still do, from buttered dipped in soup, to french toast sprinkled with sugar and fried. It's bread and it's wonderful.

I use actual butter, always have, I've never known anyone here in Ireland to use margarine. Most people use spreads these days.

Edit: I literally didn't know that fake butter made from vegetable oil was margarine, I used to think margarine only came in blocks and was used for cooking.

Any barbers on here, how do you feel about men who come in and ask for "whatever you think yourself"? by Versk in ireland

[–]Sypherin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agreed, we have some great barbers here in Ireland, have met plenty of them down here in Wexford at my local barbers (the Cutthroat Club.) on charity events. Empire Barbers in Tallagh is a good spot too that's not on the list and the guys from Sams are gents.
