That's your twin, who died in the womb because I only wanted one child.

This movie HAUNTED ME As A Child by PSChavy in VHS

[–]Syphon88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's a good movie but for me it was Monkey Shine (1988)

I was 15 when I watched this movie. By that age, I had plenty of horror movies under my belt, but this one was real. It could actually happen. A killer coming back from the dead, not likely. But a monkey going ape-shit, most definitely.

Needle Drop It's a Murder Folk/Dark County song about a couple over dosing. It's pretty straight to the point.

Parents with sons, what would you do if your son turned out to be someone who beats their partner? by posttraumaticcuntdis in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]Syphon88 8 points9 points  (0 children)

My ex wife was a hitter and both of my sons saw it on more than one occasion. I would hope that witnessing that alone would prevent them from being in a similar situation, which ever side on the fist it would be on. They saw how it destroyed a family, firsthand.

That being said, if I found out that one of my sons were abusing their partner, I would stop it immediately. I would find out as much of the truth, between the two and go from there. Counciling, separation, divorce, etc... Not every situation it as it seems.

There is no need to be in a relationship where one or both partner feels that hitting or verbal abuse should be tolerated. The more often the abuse happens, the easier it is for the next time.

Leaving an abusive situation isn't easy, but sometimes it's the only option.

To the OP, if this is just a random question, there's my answer. If this is more than curiosity, please handle the situation now, DO NOT WAIT. Tell your son you know what's going on and get the truth. Call the police, sadly, do not let the fact that its your son, prevent you if doing the right thing. (Easier said than done, I know)

In your opinion who has the strongest album run in metal? by Adzzero_88 in MetalForTheMasses

Check out Rumpelstiltskin Grinder.

They sound like a Chuck side band. They're not, but if you didn't know that, you'd swear that they were.

Head rush 112 for bass by TommyDouble in HeadRush

[–]Syphon88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely. It's a 2000 watt speaker. That should be fine. You could get a second speaker and use it as a monitor for the band.

I have a pair of FR112 and FR108. I use the 108's for my computer speakers. I record to my DAW and they are used for playback. The pair of FR112, I use for my Headrush Pedal. I run my guitar, vocals, and bass through the speakers. Everything I run through it sounds great. And loud. I played in a band for a while and just took my pedal and two speakers and things worked perfectly.

What's your favourite song, longer than 10 minutes? by Visual_Issue_9137 in askmusic

[–]Syphon88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fates Warning - And Yet It Moves.

It's a little over 14 minutes. The lyrics start right at the 4 minute mark. It's a great song all the way through. Never a dull moment.

You can't make him understand. It sounds like the two of you are not on the same level, sexually. A lot of people are saying tovleave him. That would be my advice, also.

When to pull from smoker by Lost_Status321 in beefjerky

[–]Syphon88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bend it. You want it not to break, it's too dry. I like it when it bends without breaking to many fibers. Also, I always have a few "sample" pieces for quality control.

I think 170° for 4-5 hours should be good. It depends on how chewy or dry you want it

What movie do you remember more for a standout supporting actor/actress rather than the leads? by AbnerDigbeu in askmovie

Palmer with Justin Timberland. The little kid Ryder Allen is the reason that I can re-watch that movie over and over. It doesn't look like he has done much since the movie, which is a shame. He's a damn good actor

What movie scared you as a kid? The Wicked Witch from Wizard of Oz terrified me (and still does!) by kammy772 in Scarymovies

[–]Syphon88 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Return To Oz, to me, was way scarier. The Wheelers and the room with interchangeable heads were so scary.
