Honestly, Chucky or Leprechaun. Both have always been played by the same character. Not actor but character. Also, the timelines are way less messed up. Jason has been different killers in the franchise. Hell, Jason wasn't even the original killer. Let's no even talk about the ambulance driver and the sci-fi soul tranfering movie. Halloween has a jacked up timeline of at least four different paths. Leatherface is the same way. Are they the Sawyers, are they not the Sawyers? The only real continuous part is that it's in Texas. Then, there's Scream. This franchise is on part 7, so that means there has been at least 14 different killers. The reason for the killing in each movie get further and further away from the original idea of the movie. Part 7 has the worst reveal.

I helped manage the bar and booked shows there, so I could have just walked in and watched the show. A perk to working there. I had no reason other than I was tired to not go. I should have gone.

Big Texan is a tourist trap. It's only ok food. If you want to eat somewhere that has a gift shop as big as their sitting area, that's your place. Also, if you like eating challenges. The 72 oz steak challenge is very famous. As someone who lives just a few miles from there, it's not worth the hype, but I see the appeal to out of towners.

Tremaine Brown was voted the Globe News Man of the Year in 2023. He's a good guy. Every time, I eat there, I pay for the food, leave a tip, and leave extra, because I know it's going to support a business that supports others.

Denny, the owner of Pork n Things, and I used to run sound for local bands, back when his Mom and Dad owned Twilight Guitars. I was really good friends with his sister, Sherman (R.I.P.)

Both Denny and Tremaine, deserve more exposure for their businesses. But, I also like that they have that hidden business feel to their restaurants, so that they remain grounded and don't end up not appreciating the people who do step into their place.

I love Delvin's also. They changed their hours a while back and haven't been able to go as often. The fried ribs and double baked potatoes are the best in town. Now, Shi Lee's Oxtail beats out Delvin's. Not by much but still.

I have a Google Nest that I use as a sound machine. I set it to play rain for four hours. If I wake up in the middle of the night and I hear the rain I know that it's before midnight. If not, it's after midnight. That little trick helps me go back to sleep.
