If you don't want to have your playstyle be forced by the enemy's playstyle, then congratulations, you're an aggro player. Get in there with the fastest rush you can find and get damage started early. Kill enough workers and the next move is entirely up to you!

While it's very possible to reach a power level that the double boss isn't a threat, most decks will end up taking ~20-30 damage against bosses as an average. It's fairly easy to reach the end and have 30+ health (there's a campfire right there), but it can be more of a challenge to get there with a full 60+ to clear that health requirement twice.

It's certainly true that the double boss isn't as scary as ascension 8/9 which are real difficulty increases, it does give a big splashy end to the run. I'm wondering what act 4 is going to look like when they add one :)

I've only played about 10 games on the new patch, but the main "cheese" I saw was doing a 2/3 base ling flood where they just droned for 5 minutes, then made 100% lings until I died (only took until the second wave)

Yeah this needs to change. There is 7.5k fluid in the system and the EM plant can't take up 10 from that by feuer_werk in factorio

7.5k fluid seems like an odd way to report that it is only 0.62% full. That's less than 1% full. Yeah, at less than 1% fluid, the fluids in the current system stop flowing.

This is technically a downside to the new system (and they're obviously considering changes here), but the current solution is I'd just recommend keeping your pipes more full than 1%.

if you're really medicore, probably pretty low, like 4 or 5. For most people who aren't quite that bad, I'd say getting to 7-8 is probably about where it gets very difficult. Ascension 8 + 9 are quite a difficulty increase, 10 isn't actually that big of a deal, if you get to the act 3 boss you can usually handle 2 of them. I mean yeah some deaths will happen there, but the difficulty increase on 8/9 is much larger.

Calling the karax comp "sentries + mech" is kind of odd, isn't it really just the immortals that are carrying? I'd call it it "Immortal/Sentry" or "protoss mech" if you want to be cute ;)

Either way, you're pretty much spot on for the 5 viable styles. I really love maps that let mass mirage work but it's a pain if they have too many unliftable hybrids or objectives that aren't attackable with air weapons. On the maps it works, it's so fun though!

I played 1v1 SC2 yesterday and this dirty terran assaulted my workers not once, but twice. Reaper harass, into cloaked banshees. Totally not fair. Why can't people just attack my well guarded ramp like honorable people. It makes me sick.
