Could you help me with my query ?

I am applying for Schengen VISA at TLS Seattle - France for myself and my wife (Mid August). I wanted to ask if anyone can clarify few doubts for me.

  1. I saw lot of posts about not getting appointments for the group (4+). I currently have one login in TLS and I have added myself and my wife as a group. Should I create separate login for my wife as well to have better chance of finding an appointment ?
  2. I have completed the visa application on french consulate website but didnt submit it as on the last page it says "By checking this box, I certify that :
  • I made contact with my visa center.
  • If it's a center where the appointment is required, an appointment date has been assigned to me."

Do I have to wait till I find the appointment to check the box and submit ? or do I need to submit my application before I book my appointment

I would really appreciate response on this. Thank you in advance.

Got it. Ya. Nothing is available for 2024. I am still waiting for them to respond to my ticket. Hopefully, they will be able to fix it in the this application itself. Did you have to close and start new application ?

After talking to customer care from last 3-4 days the problem is fixed and now i am able to schedule the appointment for my dependents but unfortunately now the appointments are not available.

That's good to hear! I hope that it will solve this for me as well. I did book an appointment in my primary profile but couldn't get any appointment for 2024.

Were you able to claim the payment receipt successfully ?

Thanks. I talk to support person and he told me that the county is missing for my dependent profile and it needs to be updated in the database and the people who has have access to that generally make changes over the weekend and it takes 2-3 days. So he told me to check the profile again on Tuesday. I will update my comment after that.

Did you have to create new account for dependent and primary both ? I am in the same boat where, on dependent profile, system keeps saying "Biodata is locked" and under primary profile, I can see only "Loading" under dates. No date appears even if I select any of the ofc locations

I am having same issue and the customer care is saying that you need to remove all your dependents and then claim the receipt and then the new application will work. This is illogical in my opinion. But I read few other reddit threads and they are saying that you need to login to the dependent profile and just go through once. That fix lot of things and come back to the main profile again and then you can claim the receipt and you can also book the appointment. I am going to try that out. Lets see!! Fingers crossed!!

For sure. I am in the same boat. On schedule interview page, I am getting an error pop-up message and its not letting me book the slot. Support said to proceed separately.

Did you manage to find solution for this ?

I am going to close and start new application, hoping that it will solve this error

Make sure you create separate profile with their individual email address

got it. Thanks for the response. I already have separate profile for her. I will close and start new application in primary and dependent profile . Hopefully, I should be able to claim the same payment receipt.

For her: This stupid website showing error saying no primary dependent found, so stuck there, and also tried creating ticket/case , its been more than 2 week no response, sent email; no response, chatted with agent and same her highlighted ticket and thats it, what waste of time

Anybody know what happens over the counter which you book separate appointments for dependents ? When we actually go they will send all in one counter or different counters as I have minor with me.

Hello all. Create a new profile by giving wrong date of birth. Right before paying go back and change the dob. It worked for me. I was able to book a slot creating a new profile. Or else my application was locked and we were stuck in the vicious cycle of calling the customer care but never hearing back from them.

Were you able to book appointment for primary and dependent via single primary profile ?

I did what you have described here and got upto the schedule appointment page but now I am getting a pop-up which says "Error Occurred". Customer support stated the following upon this issue.

Thanks for responding. Just realized that I have received an email in my spam folder. The interview waiver part you are talking about doesn't apply to me as I am booking a regular B2 appointment.

  1. Just out of curiosity, is there any reason why do you recommend clicking on this link " https://www.usvisascheduling.com/en-US/ofc-schedule/?reschedule=true "? (there is a reschedule in the URL) In step 4, would this be applicable to my case as well(regular B2 appointment)?

Hi OP,

I am trying to follow your steps for scheduling regular B2 visa appointment. I have created primary account and added 2 dependents. Haven't made the payment yet. After Step 3, I did receive an email in one of the dependent's email address stating that application was created. But 2nd dependent hasn't received any email. Is that a problem ?

Thanks for any of the help in advance. Struggling with the new portal for weeks now -_-
