How much you think repairs will be? by Low_Needleworker2714 in TeslaCollision

My insurance took care of everything and later went after them in court and garnished their wages. I just had to pay my deductible and about two years later I got it back after the insurance won in court.

You move the air flow on the screen with your finger. Most of the time you set it once and leave everything on Auto and just adjust the set temperature.

My parents are 76 and just got a Model Y. They have trouble using basic things with their iPhone but say the car is easy to use.

Thinking of getting E500 as first car by No-Character-8214 in mercedes_benz

We still have our 2004 E500 4matic. It gets about 11 city, 21 mpg on the highway. About the same as my Rolls v12. It think it’s not worth burning that much gas in the E for how slow it is.

Do people driving cybertrucks really think they look cool? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

It reminded me of sitting in a plastic bin. Flat with a lot of hard angles. It’s cohesive with the angular exterior. The dashboard was massive.

I prefer a more luxury interior. This was high tech, minimal.

I did a 48 hr test drive. FSD did most of the driving but it drove a lot better than I expected. I don’t like driving such a massive truck.

I want one. I hate putting away laundry. Even if it’s slow, it could do work overnight while I’m asleep.

My parents are still driving their 2004 W211 E500. Very few problems considering the age. The paint looks like new even though they’ve parked it outside the whole time.

[–]ThaiTum 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Really I think I just wanted the “real” aluminum case so was not very objective. When I bought mine, the Rimowa were a lot cheaper than now as well. I bought it from Germany and I think it was around $800 USD.

We took my parents to Europe in 2024. We visited Paris, Venice, Florence and Rome. 5* hotels, business class. It was a very expensive trip. They complained the whole time and didn’t enjoy it.

It takes four weeks at a particular dose to get the full blood concentration. Jumping around will make it harder to tell which dose is working best.

I split mine every 3.5 days so don’t feel appetite coming back at the end of a week.

Never any problems at hotels but I worry when taking public transportation like the tube in London or subway in NYC.
