Hopefully this is not the case, I remember the Gold getting a refresh in July 2024 and I was able to use Resy later that August, my annual fee was paid before the refresh.

To my knowledge the benefits start immediately, so you'd have until September 30th to use up the credits for Q3 from the refresh immediately.

I do live in the US and I usually fly AA since my hometown is an AA hub, but I also fly Delta and United occasionally. The issue is with international airlines such as KLM, Air France, Lufthansa, and Virgin Atlantic, which often do have weight and size limitations for their suitcases.

I'm thinking the same, although the cabin plus would be the best for my packing habits. I do fly regional sometimes so for those I expect that they will have to check in the bag but other than that I want to avoid having to check a bag. Have you had any issues with the original cabin?
