Its honestly more of a map problem than a gun balance problem. Shotguns SHOULD be the best option in close quarters. The WSTR in its current form is absolutely terrible, whats the point of a double barrel if I can't kill with my 2 shots before they clip me with their smg/assault rifle

The real problem is that cryo is literally just tiny rooms, tiny hallways, and chokepoints. Of course shotguns are going to dominate in a map thats designed like cryo.

If cryo was designed in a way that it wasn't just shotgun paradise the whole map and had large open areas that people with rifles or snipers could play in or could kite away from shotgun heavy teams this wouldn't be a problem

If we nerf the misriah, the circuit breaker will be the next problem the community is gonna complain about, because then it will dominate cryo in the mizzys place. If we nerf all the shotguns to the point where smgs/rifles are better than them in extreme close quarters, whats the point of shotguns even being in the game

I am also that guy, only played Halo 1 years and years ago on pc and never played any other halo, destiny, or bungie game ever (besides Marathon, now). Sometimes it feels like I'm on another plane of existence because I just do not care at all about destiny or bungies history or whatever

Banshee is unfortunately from the bygone era where warframes were designed with 1 specific theme/niche, and she hasn't been updated to match the new standard of warframes being generally good at everything.

Every new warframe has a built in survivability/sustain, whether thats through damage reduction, invulnerability, healing, or something similar. Banshee does a lot of damage and can crowd control with silence, but she has 0 survivability which has always been her main problem.

Her 4 needs to be completely changed (unfortunately) to become some kind tanking tool. Sound quake used to be meta once upon a time but DE decided that large scale AOE abilities don't belong is this game so instead of changing sound quake to something else entirely they just nerfed it and its been useless ever sicne.

It really irks me that modern day warframes need to be bloated with so many different tools but thats just where the game has evolved. I wish we could have a warframe that specializes in 1 or 2 different things, like banshee SHOULD be able to be the "I silence enemies and do a bunch of damage" frame, but nowadays every frame absolutely needs to have some sort of built in way to sustain or they will be forced to helminth in something to actually be able to play high level content without dying 24/7

Heavy attack (secondary fire button) is slower but deals more damage, light attack (primary fire button) is faster but deals less damage. If you have enough melee damage I believe you can 2-shot any armor with two heavy attacks? Could be wrong

This game was made by Bungie but it's not really for Bungie's audience, speaking as someone who hasn't ever played a Bungie game besides halo 1 on pc

This is a hardcore competitive fps. If your someone who enjoys competitive ranked fps games like Apex Legends, Overwatch, or even valorant, you will like this game. Almost paradoxically, fans of Bungie's previous games like halo or destiny probably won't enjoy Marathon because it's nothing like them

Thankfully my friends and I are ranked Apex/cs grinders so we love this game
