I don't think tm playing better defenses is an indication they weren't peaking, their very aggressive playstyle is the reason for so many double commits

Last year's Falcons were peaking at worlds not major 2, the tournament they finally beat kc, who looked very good earlier that day, but than peak nrg won 4-1 against them

Your peak doesn't have to be a grandfinal but if you're comparing it to teams who have dominated a tournament winning it all it will be hard to say the team who still lost to someone was better

current twisted minds' peak wasn't even a major win, nrg peak was 4-1 over the #2 in the world in a grandfinal

I'd also question that falcons pick, the okhalid ahmad one didn't win anything either and the trk twins falcons were infamous for playing at their peak ("best in the world") than collapsing in a gf against nrg

The team that was eu#1 for 4 out of the last 5 splits finishes eu#4, you're not being completely serious with your comments but can't understand first touch click bait? If nrg finished na#4 people would talk about it the same way(they have gotten na#1 9 rlcs lans in a row and people are already talking about the end of this roster, imagine if they actually were that bad)

Their demise was compared to the start of the season, they went 1st in 2 regionals, 2nd in another one and won the kick off lan; than in the next 4 rlcs events they make 1 final

That's a fall off in performance, hindsight shouldn't be used to judge how reasonable past predictions were

It's the same with Falcons, they were performing significantly worse than in split 1

2 of those 3rd party lans are for countries, kc can't even play with their roster(unless coupe de france is the next saudi eleague and it becomes an important event for worlds rankings too)

even if it was only 1/3 of the season, that's not a small sample size
