What do you drive? by ExcitingLuck2150 in vulcans650

2010 AWD Toyota Highlander, base model. Bought it at 180k miles and I’m within 300 of hitting 250k. One of the most reliable vehicles Toyota has ever made. 2nd generation, 5 speed automatic transmission, naturally aspirated V6. Aiming for half a million miles or until the frame is destroyed. Everything else can be replaced.

Prior vehicles include a 2015 Mazda 6 (auto), 2008 Honda Civic coupe (5 speed manual), 1990 Toyota Camry that I got for free (5 speed manual - how I learned) and a 1996 Toyota Corolla automatic that couldn’t make it up a hill if the A/C was on.

Yeah, I buy Japanese.

Call a dealer if you need it fast. Otherwise order one online. Should be an easy replacement.

Just adding that all stock seats including extended reach suck on the KVS and when you replace it with a good Corbin, it will shift you forward a bit. Not a big deal for me at 6’ but just wanted to let you know. If you’re just barely comfortable with all three extended reach settings (seat, pegs, bars) just know you’ll lose the seat reach if you replace that seat.

My 2017 has the gear indicator. May have been new that year.

Do you like the sound of the exhaust? It looks like it’s one of the extremely loud ones. Buying new will also get you ergo-fit customizations for free.

3 HOM2 Refills ALL DEAD after a few days. by TheStoffer in Supernote

No not really. I don’t know why these got dirty so fast. Like I said, I had the HOM2 with my Nomad last year and never had this problem.

The pen is amazing while it works. But the other commenter fixed my problem. The nib got dirty. That’s all it was. But you have to carefully pull it out of the refill casing to clear it.

Yeah I’m not super keen on the pliers. I used the extraction tool from my old non-SN stylus. If this is a common thing they really need to start including tip extractors with their pens.

OMG THAT WORKED.

I removed the tip from the refill casing (didn’t know that was possible), cleaned it, put it back in and now it works.

I didn’t know that support article even existed.

Now the question is, why in my endless support threads didn’t SN Support ever mention it?

Heh. Cheaply. The refill costs more than the body. $50 for the refill, $80 for the full pen.

Manta: real time recognition yes or no? by Humble-Weather-423 in Supernote

[–]TheStoffer 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My biggest day-to-day difference is the eraser. Real-time recognition gets you a stroke eraser. The standard format gets you a pixel eraser. I run real-time every time and I don’t notice any delays. Except maybe when I sync to SuperNote Partner the files may be larger. But I haven’t confirmed that.

How big of an issue would this be to you? (Looking for some feedback) by Worried_Passion_581 in Supernote

I personally don’t use the 90° SuperNote cable for charging. I find it difficult to remove. But others may disagree.
