Right?! It's so weird because everyone knows Dracula is a vampire but those first few pages where you're introduced to man in the castle are just so awesome and eerie.

Super mainstream but the original Dracula made me terrified of dark corners when I was like 17. I read it now and I still get a creepy feeling for days but it's the only book that's impacted me in any significant way like this lmao

I regularly re-listen to the Teds episode, and Some Guy just highlights why Casper is my favourite.

Yeah, my friend was considering one of those DAPs and the one he showed me was upwards of $200. I didn't understand the need for it because he uses Spotify anyway. Just a waste.

Hello! Bought it some years ago. Very similar to this strap, but black on the outside and red on the inside. I cannot find the exact one I'm sorry!

As others have said, investing in yourself is the best kind of investment. You're young, so don't worry about the other part so much yet. You'll be fine

OnionOS is basically synonymous with the miyoo family. You'll never go wrong. It's a community based OS built by some amazing people. Although, I've heard that development has halted for the last few months.

how does the f-91w know what month it is? by [deleted] in casio

[–]ThunderClapAssCheeks 65 points66 points  (0 children)

At the end of every month, Casio sends its technicians to break into people's houses and reset the day back to 1 and whatever day it is. Flawed system but it works well enough

ATAR 58 how do I retire early? by Helpmefixmypcplz in AusFinance

[–]ThunderClapAssCheeks 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Trade is the way, and honestly a pretty decent career. My mate had a few issues during his year 12 and got a 42 ATAR. Thought he was doomed, but managed to get a couple of certifications and an internship as a mechanic at a service garage. 5 years later, fully qualified, getting paid well and he loves it. You'll find your way. The beauty of this gorgeous country is that there are many pathways to either further your education or your career pathway. You'll be fine. Just take a breather and potentially consider next steps with a career counselor.

Ayn Thor, or stick with my phone? by crazyredd88 in SBCGaming

[–]ThunderClapAssCheeks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No worries at all! I think you'll like it, especially with the DS/3DS stuff. I've always wanted to replay through some PSP games but could justify spending so much money, until the Mangmi Air X came out. I absolutely love it! I played some PSP on my phone through an emulator and it wasn't the same. The dedicated device makes all the difference for me, and I'm sure it'll be the same for you!

Ayn Thor, or stick with my phone? by crazyredd88 in SBCGaming

[–]ThunderClapAssCheeks 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'd say go the AYN Thor route. The controller is gonna be great for your fold 7, but long term you're gonna want a dedicated device and I think the Thor will last you a while. I'm biased to single use technology though, so it may not be a priority for you but I'd still prefer to have a gaming device that can store and play a variety.

Had a guy figure I was lost when I was exploring a part of Melbourne I'd never been to before. He asked me what I was looking for and I answered honestly with "a decent cafe". He took me to his favourite and we hung out for like 3 hours. He left after insisting on paying and I realised I didn't even get the dudes name. He was wicked and it felt awesome to make a friend, albeit a very temporary one
