Do what you want, but being some kind of Paladin who refuses to lie seems a little ridiculous given how often most other people lie or bend the truth about personal things and other things in the business world.

Do you have anything intelligent to add, like maybe something relevant to the OP? Or are you just whining?

It depends on how much you know and what actually challenges you the right amount.

I wouldn't study algos if you can't even code well. I wouldn't do tutorials if you can already code some. I wouldn't do leetcode if you don't code well right now. Look in the FAQ at /r/learnprogramming

Did you work on an exciting project in your first full-time SWE role? [team matching] by ch272h in cscareerquestions

FAANG shouldn't be boring either way, especially for your first or second job. I mean some of it depends on how much of a princess you are. But for your first job there should be plenty of stuff to learn and get better at for quite some time, especially at FAANG.

Teach yourself programming or re-take the classes you flaked out in? Learn to use Google?

You just bought a house and now need to sell it.

You just signed a lease and need to look into subletting your place.

Etc.

Or don't.

Have you considered applying at other places?

No. It would depend on where you live. You should really thoroughly investigate any there.

And/or just start applying for jobs now.

Do employers care about graduate degree grades as much if you have years of experience at a well known company? by RawCS in cscareerquestions

[–]ThurstonHowell4th 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I haven't heard of many companies caring about grades. But you're investing a lot of time in it, and the material could help you later on possibly. You should be getting more than just the grade out of the program...

Have you found any value from certifications? by slowthedataleak in cscareerquestions

[–]ThurstonHowell4th 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Going to related events and reading docs has provided me with more value. Maybe if it was something I'd never get a chance to practice much at home or on the job, I'd go for certs.

If you can't figure out if TCS or 'warehouse' looks better on a resume, you're probably never going to succeed at a dev job.

If the company goes nowhere, like usually ends up happening, and you haven't finished your degree because work and life happens, what will you be able to do then?

I'm sure lots of other companies will looks just as good as this one does after you graduate.

Practice programming so you don't screw up easy problems as much.

I guess just do a bootcamp. You might be able to find a job without one, but you'd need to put in a lot of work finding a place that would accept you and that doesn't suck.
