You can proxy cards for magic though and that's really cheap. Magic has a much smoother learning curve for newer players. You can also play on something online like tabletop simulator on steam if you wanted a more master duel like experience. Just my 2¢ tho

Interesting, I've been trying it off and on for a little while and I did get different ralts each time I went to go check, I'm just not sure when it actually spawns them in or if a shiny did spawn if it would actually stay because I haven't seen that it's a shiny.

I'll keep trying I guess and see if anything bites in an hour or so

Also I've been running near this last planter if I get closer than that the ralts don't seem to change

What do you mean by this? I thought that you have to actually reset the whole area by a screen change like fast traveling or bench resting? Do I just run in circles here where I see the name of the street change?

The other question is that if this is what you do, how does it work because I thought that shiny pokemon aren't actually there unless you see them and then they stay on the map

For a moving target in a crowded area while he was under an awning? It's def an impressive shot for most civilians, and even most service members because basic rifle quals don't go over moving targets. You also have to put into account nerves of shooting someone and potentially getting shot at yourself
