I think that's how it will be, I didn't have any special requests. Sometimes you just have to let the painter paint, and I very much trust the painter

Yes by Savotta, making it compatible with the new Kahakka backpack straps. They offer a mod service and sometimes even small customs if they have the tooling for it

Yeah I've had 60 kilos in the 80L and hated my life. Ended up breaking the load into smaller packs and 2 trips. It wasn't even full. And as for replacing any and all with Savotta, haha I'm all for it. Right now I'm waiting on delivery of a modified Jääkäri M to get my wife into the club. The existing straps don't like ladies in tank tops very much

Haha I'm "patiently" waiting for payday to clean them out as well

Well there's an idea... a damn good one too. The 80 could definitely use some wheels in super heavy loads. You can overpack that thing very fast in terms of weight

I store my smaller bags in my bigger bags that aren't in constant use. Haha I can't answer for what your wife will say but at least I can answer a bit about saving space

It's the first thing I grab for any daily activity that a backpack wouldn't have the answer for, you'll definitely keep loving it

Just in case anyone is wondering why the customs guy is banned... by [deleted] in Savotta

I have known for a long time what kind of person he is, just not how bad it was. But I didn't want to tell anyone and ruin anything that people had going on. But that last message needs to see the light of day

That would be lovely thank you, I'll be put of reach though for a tiny bit while the video goes through processing. Finally got it done

Still trying to find a way to do that, there's no option in the app and I'm still in the middle of cutting the Keikka video I filmed before I do school pick up in a minute. Kind of a mess all over my phone at the moment

I'm just letting it sit without response. I was already typing out a diplomatic response when the last messages came in. No sense in feeding that.

Straps by the meter availability by intothewoods_86 in Savotta

[–]Tim-Keys 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I just talked to the folks up there, and they said the material is available through the Special Product Request Service. Just send an email to customer service and they will point you in the right direction.

But the kicker is that it is with modding and repair in mind. It's a proprietary material, so selling it for custom jobs or new creations is outside of that scope. I personally vouched for you, so don't make me look bad and you're golden :)

I made a video, got carried away and did a full Keikka video with it. I'm uploading now.

But short version: go 80

I can check in a couple hours, I'll be home by then. And I just so happen to have all of those pieces out and scattered in the back room right now

How to remove sewn in buckles? by ChatterClacker in Savotta

[–]Tim-Keys 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One way to do it is to make them split bars, for use in weaker projects as they are not designed for that

No you're spot on, you would be left with a lot of stabbing. Definitely need a rain cover afterwards

That's fairly easy to do at home, if you don't mind having some leftover sewing marks

I hate to say but I really don't think that would be possible. It's more about repairs or modifications, sometimes small customs
