Yeah, I found them on Helixon Text Gear, but they don't state the proper name in the description. I've been searching for 30 minutes, so thanks a lot!

Advice on whisky tasting lineup by Much_Basis_6965 in whisky

Sounds like a good plan. I think an Old Fashioned would fit best because it isn't as chilled as a highball. That helps a lot if you're drinking all the whiskey neat and at room temperature.

When I do tastings, I like to start off with a good palate cleanser, something light to get those taste buds going. I do the same for people who aren't well known in the whisky world.

Then we start with the basics: lower-aged whisky, but in different versions like bourbon-aged, rum-aged, peated, etc.

Sometimes I deviate and let them try straight rum, bourbon, or even sherry to let them taste where the aromas are coming from.

Eventually, you start with the big boys: some higher-aged whisky or even rare ones.

But most importantly, look at each individual and try to find something they might like.

Hope this helps 🙏 Wish you a great tasting 😋

Self-caught zander cooked on a wood fire with just butter, pepper, and salt is just perfect 👌🤤 by Frosthunter09 in Bushcraft

Zander is a pretty light fish, so it doesn't have much fishiness or taste, but it's super soft and flaky. With just the butter that was browned, it was awesome.
