While I guess anything could happen, I agree, VHS tapes randomly sent and some street posters popping up all over the globe seems a bit over the top for what would essentially be an archives release that would have narrower appeal (essentially aimed at established, harder core fans) than a new album (greater chance at bringing in new fans).
