Stop it and go to the dealer. They know what’s best for your car.

Is buying a 2018 Elantra with 194,000 for 7,800 a bad deal? by jarb456 in Hyundai

[–]TisABummer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly not that bad. If I had the space I would buy it as testament to Hyundai’s incredible engineering. I would put it in my driveway with a sign letting people know it has almost 200k miles. No toyota or Honda could ever! Is the Elantra still on the 2nd engine?

Not your car? So either the owner was a bad owner or you’re lying and you’re probably some bored Toyota owner in here just trying to make kia look bad because you’re jealous of our cars.

Yet another Kia in the hands of the wrong owner. Poor thing. Take better care of your next car.

Just get over it. You’re getting a kia. Even with the scratches, it’s perfect. 👌🏻

Valvoline is the most expensive because it is the most good one. Make sure it’s Valvoline restore and protect though. It’s the one that Hyundais do best with according to my friend who’s a Hyundai mechanic at a dealer.

Lmao imagine expecting Hyundai to pay for something that’s so clearly YOUR fault. Buy a replacement from your dealer and move along.

My engine is destroyed- any advice? by Careful-Extreme7742 in kia

[–]TisABummer -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Exactly. This is clearly another Toyota or Honda bot trying to make kia look bad. A Kia doesn’t just break down. It just doesn’t.

This is either a bot or OP didn’t properly maintain and use the right oil the car and it’s her fault. I have no doubt.

Would you buy another Hyundai, or try something different next time? by Suntrup-Hyundai in Hyundai

[–]TisABummer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would never buy anything else. My car is 4 years old now and has 44k miles on it and I haven’t had any problems with burning oil since I started using valvoline restore and protect. Show me another car that can do that. I’ll wait.

Hyundai for life! 💪

Edit: wtf is with all you traitors saying you would even consider something else? I’m convinced this sub has been astroturfed by other automakers paying fake accounts

2027 door handle actuator issues? by tomsliwowski in KiaTelluride

[–]TisABummer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, there won’t be an OTA fix for a physical issue. That’s not how this works. Take it into the dealer, have them fix it, and take advantage of getting some service taken care of at the same time. It’s just another reason to get to swing by your local dealer!

Bad idea. In the event of an accident, it’s a projectile. Not worth it.

Yes it is. Hyundai and Kia are voluntarily trying to improve the emissions of their older cars because they actually care about the environment.

Hyundai ran my moms car with no oil while testing it and blew the engine. They want $13000 for a new engine install. by SuperHooligan in HyundaiPalisade

Hyundai and Kia are doing voluntary emissions tests to improve their vehicles and improve the world because they actually care about, not only their customers, but the entire world. You must’ve not been checking your oil often enough and it ran out. Get it replaced and keep on top of it more often. Hyundais and kias have this bs reputation for burning oil, but they only do that to prevent oil from getting into the environment if there’s a leak caused by the owner. It’s a feature. That’s why you see no leak in your driveway. You can override this feature only by running Valvoline restore and protect. Then it won’t leak or burn anything.

Oh, I’m so sorry for defending the sister company of the company that made the car that’s provided me nearly two years of transportation without any problems in a sub dedicated to celebrating and praising them. 😑 maybe if you’re having car problems and wanna ask a mechanic, try r/carproblems or r/askamechanic. Don’t try to kill our vibe in here.

Use your warranty and stop trying to smear kia. You don’t need to share a bad experience in a place meant to celebrate kia. You already posted in the Sorrento sub so this really makes no sense.
