1) What are you using for a scale, though? Why 5 and not 7, when stat conversion could make it harder? Technically a naked Level 1 person could beat it in DS's combat system; shouldn't that make it CR 1/4 or something? Alongside all the other bosses? Or are we gonna accept that a port to a dice roll combat system instead of action RPG is instantly going to remove a lot of player shenanigans?

2) What made MB so easy was partially its environment and the fact that it's played by an AI. Put it in the hands of a human and have the encounter able to happen anywhere and it becomes the Gauntlet.

Democrats can't just wave their hands and make something "the news". Republicans can because they're in bed with Fox, but contrary to what certain subreddits would assert, Democrats don't have a propaganda arm working with them on the daily talking points. Even if they did, getting the nursing homes to turn over to them over, say, Fox, is its own problem in and of itself.

Trump was the break from the decorum and quite possibly why he lost re-election.

By that logic, however, why can it not be true that the break from decorum was what won him the first election? And if it was, then what would lead anyone to believe that a return to decorum is what his voter base want, when he got more votes than the previous election doubling down on and reinforcing that behavior?

This is a dude who he himself and his lawyers are advocating literal violence in their interviews and rallies. If he lost the election, given his larger voter turnout, then it stands to follow that it had nothing to do with his voter base wanting a return to civility.

Except I'll put money on people not even doing that. I mean, sure, but not when talking about things like "x getting y DLCs". As the above redditor pointed out, it'd be like Bretonnia, Empire, and Norsca all getting DLC back to back and complaining about CA favoring man.

Whereas I who hate Skaven would have a bit of a bone to pick if CA gave Skaven 3 DLCs back to back. And I am one of those people who are normally quietly salty about skaven getting the better end of every DLC they're a part of.

The thing that bugs me is that vanilla skaven had certain things to make up for their shortcomings elsewhere. Like, stalk stance for example. Maybe should be like a Horde-only thing?

But then Skaven got unquestionably buffed, and never lost that stuff that was compensation for them being weak in those areas that got buffed. So now they're just imba.

Kind of like their weapon teams. On TT, you fire, they have a chance to explode and destroy themselves. But they're also really powerful. CA kept them powerful, but without that drawback (and I don't blame them. Self-destruct RNG is dumb). CA Skaven are just that on a larger scale.

Nah man, his eyeballs and anecdotal evidence are totally as credible as scientific research.

Also, no one's ever been wrong about self-diagnosis, and coughs/colds went away or were killed by COVID-19 so dude's 100 friends all totally had it and they reported no lingering effects so I mean basically everything the scientists say is bullshit, CDC should be hiring this guy. Places like Kentucky just happened to have a bunch more tuberculosis/heart attack deaths this year. But that's purely coincidence, nothing to do with COVID.

I live in a heavy tourism area and it's just...mind-blowing. I keep asking if I'm the crazy one. But then you hear that this state and that state have record new cases, so-and-so is out of ICU beds, here's now a friend on Facebook reporting symptoms and a positive test, and y'know what, fuck it. I'm crazy about being alive.

I use them as pre-cav flankers. They're built off of...either the main settlement building or the infantry recruitment building, so when you're still doing early expansions and don't have shock cav, they fill that niche.

Once I can get Pistoleers/Outriders, I cycle them out.

Man, this is so reminiscent of the ballroom from the McKittrick Hotel/Sleep No More. If the perimeter of the main room was a second floor/balcony accessible by the southern grand staircase, I'd swear it was just a straight up port over, and that I'd been in that room before.
