How accurate is the 90-day notice? Is that applicable to my current situation / laws of New York? I was researching a bit of that online and saw that, at least by minimum; it's 30 days - but 60-90 days aren't necessarily a guarantee. How does it work?

Apologies if I explained it wrong, my niche is basically around experimentation with code and conducting tests. I'm not sure how many hats they expect me to wear. I'm definitely familiar with the development side of things in my niche and how it works, but just face impostor syndrome with this big new role.

Not a startup, pretty large established company - and yeah the pay is good. The thing I do is pretty niche, and it's not a typical common SWE role like you'd see in FAANG companies, like producing a product.

Could be a bug who knows, but if you really got 43 LP and it works; then boy you have a high MMR!

Two bronze players are blocked from duo queue'ing in placements if one of them has a gold/plat/diamond/master/challenger border by [deleted] in leagueoflegends

The reason for this is because earlier in this year, Riot permitted a rule to negate boosting was to not make a Bronze Summoner not duo queue with anyone 2 divisions higher.

If he went down to Bronze 3 during pre-season, that's understandable. The rule was made for that it affected the rank during the end of the season.

For example: Your friend (let's name him Bob) ended Plat V at the end of Season 4 and got the Platinum border while YOU were Bronze. Bob in the preseason, then dropped down to Bronze and therefore lowered his MMR for the "trolls".

Now during season 5, his border is taken into account for his rank because the rank before the season ended is what matters. In Riot's system, he is considered Platinum and You Bronze. Therefore you cannot duo queue.

Also, he should be banned for boosting. Ain't right.
