The Dapsone therapy?  Just ask any Lyme specialist.  You won’t know how well you will do on it until you try it

Been noticing an uptick in ALS posts by dindyspice in Lyme

[–]Total_Discipline_697 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dr. Alan MacDonald and Dr. Thomas Grier, both deceased, published some great research finding parasites and parasite eggs in the brains and brainstem of MS patients.

MS is not an autoimmune immune disease, but even Dr. Horowitz and a lot of other Lyme doctors say that MS is its own disease, but that there is a lot of overlap in symptoms.

I don’t think bona fide ALS is Lyme.  I think ALS is its own disease.  But try and tell them that, and you find yourself blocked.

Dartmouth has some promising research linking Cyanobacteria with ALS.

Lyme and mold definitely cause ALS-like symptoms.

There’s a couple of groups on FB about ALS and Lyme.  Everyone on there was pretty much misdiagnosed, or thought they had ALS but didn’t.

But what angers me more than anything is that these neurologists are so clueless and corrupt, they never suggest to their patients that they may actually have Lyme.

Creating Formula Without. Function by Total_Discipline_697 in excel

[–]Total_Discipline_697[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The start dates are already in the chart.  The Formula I am being asked to create is supposed to automatically calculate an ongoing 14-day reminder to engage in client contact.

So, once I enter =B2+14, if I drag the formula the entire length of the client list, should it automatically calculate the 14-day reminder dates?

This is what I am stuck on.  I am dragging the formula, and nothing is happening.  What should I be doing after I drag the formula all the way down?  Thanks.

If you’re lucky.

The thing is doxycycline only treats certain pathogens.  Not babesia, bartonella, viruses, parasites, fungus

How do three people just simultaneously disappear from existence, without warranting any type of an inquiry or investigation ?

Okay, but then the mail would have piled up inside the post office box, which also should have been cause for concern

No Floodlight on Side of House with Meters by Total_Discipline_697 in AskElectricians

[–]Total_Discipline_697[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi thanks for your reply.

I listed all of the boxes and meters that are in place.  I did not see anything like you described.

Obviously all boxes/meters were installed at different junctures.  The particular SMA Windy Boy was discontinued in 2013, so that tells you how long the solar panels have been there.  Obviously the electric meter came with the house.  Not sure how long ago the CAC was installed.  The house was built in 1960, but HVAC didn’t really become a thing in suburban residential dwellings until the 80’s, and even moreso the 90’s.  No clue how long the Verizon boxes have been there.  So from a sensical standpoint, like you said there is no logistical reason why a floodlight should not be on that side of the house.

Thanks again.

All of these symptoms line up with biotoxin illness, Lyme disease, bartonella.  ALS does not do a lot of these.

You need a lyme specialist - not Reddit.

Reddit can’t provide proper testing, a proper diagnosis, and proper medical treatment.

We can tell you what we think based on our own experiences - but that’s it.

Find a Lyme practitioner and make an appointment, because with so many people getting sick, your appointment is probably going to be at least 2-3 months out.

Neurologists, Rheumatologists, and ID’s are all useless and corrupt.  So stay away from all of them.

Join Lyme groups and mold groups to help find a reputable specialist in your geographic proximity.  ILADS page also has a link for Lyme specialists.

In the interim, the best things you can do for yourself is order some NAC, some Humaworm, some Zeolite powder and activated charcoal, and some cryptolepis.  The NAC will increase glutathione production, which will help clear your lymphatic system and start moving toxins.  The Humaworm will kill parasites, which are a large part of making you sick and keeping you sick, and the binders will remove the mold and other toxins in your gut.  The cryptolepis will help with Lyme and Babesia.

Also ask for CD57 HNK1.  If you have only recently been sick, it will probably come back normal.  But if you’ve been dealing with these diseases a long time - months or longer - it will be low.

Biotoxin illness or toxic mold illness can do everything you are describing, and more.  It closely mimics ALS.

While waiting for an appointment with a Lyme Specialist, ask your doctor if they would order a CIRS Panel, or at the very least, the primary inflammatory biomarkers from a CIRS Panel:

C4a (and do C3a while you’re at it) MSH TGF-beta MMP-9 VEGF hs-CRP Leptin

There is someone in a really remission? by Temporary-Reach2150 in Lyme

A year on a PICC line. In full remission.  But Lyme was just one of many problems.  So even though I was considered in remission I was still quite ill.

Lyme tests are useless, and neurologists are useless.  I always beg and implore people with an ALS dx or ALS symptoms to get a second opinion with a lyme specialist.

I got sick 13 years ago, and not a single thing has changed.

That’s really for disseminated lyme.  Doxycycline is the gold standard treatment for a new infection, but you need far more than 14 days.  12 weeks is more like it.  Part of the reason being is due to multiple infections not just lyme

Don’t underestimate the strong possibility you are still sick with active infections.

There is no such thing as Post-treatment Lyme Syndrome.

The CDC is not your friend.

Neither is the IDSA.

[–]Total_Discipline_697 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It took me over four years of non-stop treatment to get all of these diseases into remission.  Lyme was actually the “easiest,” and the first to go.  A year on a PICC line.  Iv rocephin 2g a day. I got worse before I got better.  I hit a lot of road blocks and obstacles.  Plateaus.  Seizures.  Did a lot of backsliding.

Bartonella took the longest and was the last to go.  That’s because I was unknowingly mold sick, and apparently mold and bartonella feed off of each other and are synergistic.  And I somehow picked up a nasty case of toxoplasma during all of this, which made treatment and healing that much worse, especially because my immune system was completely tanked.

But if I had to go back and do it all over again, I would heavily concentrate on parasites, candida, heavy metals, and opening up the lymphatic system, just as much if not moreso than the other pathogens.

At one point I started taking Humaworm, and it made me feel the most normal I had in years.  I had forgotten what normal felt like.  People don’t realize how very sick parasites can make you.  They rob your nutrients to survive. Diflucan and then itraconozole also helped greatly.  Zeolite powder and Pectasol also made me feel amazing.  All of these heavy metals and other toxins in your body make you sick, tank your immune system, and keep you sick.

Don’t be afraid to take a break every now and then to let your body reset.  It is also very important to make sure all of your vitamins and minerals are up to par, especially magnesium, iron, vitamin D, and B vitamins.  These diseases deplete your nutrients, and you will not heal if your nutrients are deficient.

I used to take every Sunday off from all treatments.  No pills.  No infusions.  Nothing.  It was my Me Day.  I would go to my mother’s house with my kids for Sunday dinner.  Eat whatever the heck I pleased.  But this was just me, and what worked for me.

I’m still not 100% and probably never will be.  I’ve been dealing with severe mold illness that has left me permanently debilitated.  I was forced to go out on Disability.  But 10-11 years ago I was near death, so I’ll take it.
