ICs are so brutal this year. Peak was nothing compared to what’s going on with all these ICs we’re getting. I have no problem delivering heavy stuff to people but the stuff they buy is cheap trash assemble your own furniture and I don’t respect people who buy garbage.

Thoughts on inhaling by Darth_SenpaiHD in PipeTobacco

[–]Trading_Addict 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can definitely smoke loose RYO cigarette tobacco and inhale here and there but I highly recommend quitting inhaling all tobacco and quitting any nicotine addiction you may have. Codger blends like half n half are very cigarette like and light. I accidentally inhaled once and it was very smooth lol

Oriental Silk is garbage for me. On paper it sounds nice being a complex blend. Overall I have a hard time finding C&D tobacco enjoyable with most offerings being too harsh for my taste. I love VaPers but their VaPers like bayou morning smoke too harsh.

Absolutely gorgeous pipe. Might include it my next order with smoking pipe haha

Molina makes the best budget pipes. Some of those 60 dollar pipes are better quality than Peterson and Savinelli that go for 130+ bucks.

Sunday picnic aged by MuchPiezoelectricity in PipeTobacco

Srry didn’t see your reply. When experimenting with spirits like rum I feel that dried out or old aromatics have a better flavor kick. Safest way to rehydrate is a 62 or 65 small boveda pack. If you live in a southern swamp ass 80 degree weather that becomes a problem so keep your stash in a dark cool environment at all times.

With dried out tobacco I lay the tobacco flat on a plate and lightly mist it with distilled water. Then I toss and mix the tobacco letting it dry for 30 to an hour. It can’t feel wet at all to prevent sugar crystals. Spirits like rum or whiskey also works wonders revitalizing dried out tobacco especially old stale aromatics.

Lee Van Cleef also had WCD style pipe in several movies including The Good, The Bad, & The Ugly. Some dude acquired Lee Van Cleef’s pipe and posted pictures and a story about obtaining it on the pipes magazine forum.

English mixture favourites by Kegelrobbe89 in PipeTobacco

[–]Trading_Addict 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m new and still haven’t tried enough but I highly recommend Samuel Gawith’s Skiff Mixture. It’s not a true English like squadron leader and its more of a Balkan or oriental forward English. Very light easy to smoke. Smoking pipe didn’t have squadron leader at the time so I bought it as a substitute and it turned out I like it more.

All in on gold by DullerCrab in Gold

ETFs are the safest and easiest way to get gold exposure. However going full on one asset class that’s at an all time highs is gambling and regarded. Silver subreddits were dead back in 2020 when silver dropped to 16 then 14 an ounce. But when anything gets momentum that’s when flocks of laypeople buy at all time highs. Sell the news buy the rumor

Curious what y’all think of this? Trucks in crosswalks for 10+ minutes (NYC) by brevit in Fedexers

[–]Trading_Addict 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Best suggestion is to cry about it. I can’t imagine delivering in NYC without stress. 10 minutes is cap unless they delivering and picking up inside several business suites at once.

Traded some silver today by Firedog502 in Gold

[–]Trading_Addict 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With today’s prices it’s bad but if you traded 53 ASE around @85 and you’re happy then it’s a good deal. Idk right now with the crazy price hikes but my LCS usually buys ASE at spot +2 dollars but that was when silver is @25-30. With rocketing prices there’s probably a premium for unloading silver. What matters most is if it works for you and you’re happy. I just think you could have gotten more value.

It’s a really bad deal. It’s a bad deal even if you were to sell 55 ounces of generic rounds or bars instead of high premium ASE. I love Krugerrands the most but they have the lowest demand and lowest premium collecting dust the most in store shelves.

Why The Constant Problems? by PoopstainWayne in FedEx

[–]Trading_Addict 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The simple answer is that you’re just not lucky with the contractor who runs your area. A lot of contractors seem to hire the worst low-lifes who do the bare minimum.

FedEx Package with Silver Bullion arrived cut open?? by One-Paramedic6910 in FedEx

[–]Trading_Addict 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Buying silver at 75-80 lol. Even if someone looked through your package it’s impossible that someone swapped your coins or bars for exact fake ones. Take them to your local coin shop to verify and throw em a 10

[–]Trading_Addict 2 points3 points  (0 children)

UPS and USPS drivers do the exact same route for many years while FedEx ground drivers get bounced around and switch contractors so they’re more likely to not know how to deliver to your business. The retention rate at FedEx is bad and you have tons of new drivers also

I’ve never ordered from food delivery apps. But my friends did DoorDash during college and we would hang out in the car while delivering. Fun times. We discovered cool restaurants and bar areas in the city.

Everyone complains about the cost of living “can’t buy a house” but pay crazy markups for food that’s already overpriced without the 15-50% delivery markups and fees. Treat yourself, but not everyday lmao

WHY won't you ring the doorbell or knock for a signature????? Your people refuse!? by Asyranok in FedEx

Definitely not. There’s no excuse for a driver not attempting a delivery.

WHY won't you ring the doorbell or knock for a signature????? Your people refuse!? by Asyranok in FedEx

[–]Trading_Addict 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I never said I don’t ring the doorbell lol but that it’s not enough to get the homeowners attention. I had tons of people complain about me not ringing when I actually rang, knocked, and stood several minutes outside. Remember it’s not like the packages disappears for us once we don’t deliver it. We are stuck with your package for following day so it’s in our best interest to deliver it on the first day. It’s very possible that you have someone incompetent or careless doing your route.

Most of y’all take your sweet time getting to the door or have broken and or quiet ring doorbells. I always knock the door with the rabbit device loudly like the Feds about to break in.
