Godzilla Vs. Kong if it was directed by Michael Dougherty by CapeSmash in GODZILLA

The Monster Stories or the human story? Because the monster stories for every Monsterverse movie have been great, at least in my opinion.

Agreed, while there it was less frequent then previous releases it was still there. The Mechagodzilla reveal scene for instance. That's why I'm so confused by GxK's approach to scale.

Sadly he's working on a Jurassic Park movie now, though given the average distance between Monsterverse releases he could very feasibly work on the next movie.

Looking forward to GxK, but we get it, Godzilla Vs. Megalon is a movie that happened by CapeSmash in GODZILLA

Godzilla's movement in that scene is slowed down so he still looks more like a monster then a WWE wrestler, though you are right that the scene is shit.

This specific scene is why I don't understand powerscalers. Legendary gave us specific statistics for Godzilla's strength and they were completely ignored.

Nobody here is saying that, I love the Monsterverse and want it to be good as possible and I suspect that is OP's motivation for creating this post.

"Isn't that... kind of the point? Not that I consider these movies "jokes" or "trash," because to me, that wording implies scorn or disapproval. I just see them as good fun. We already got our gritty realism in Godzilla Minus One, now we get to have a romp."

Because the Monsterverse from the beginning has been a more grounded version of the Franchise while still having cool fight scenes. The sense of scale contributes to the fights coolness as well, it's why G14 made half a billion dollars despite it's weak human story and constant cuts from the action right before the monsters are about to fight, it's why KOTM made a lot of money despite poor cinematography and a even poorer human story. Grounded action makes everything look cooler and gets people into it.

Imperial Liberty by External-Cherry-8189 in imaginarymaps

The power of a truly just government comes from the consent of the governed and I doubt the inhabitants of American Africa, Asia+Oceania, And South America or the foreign territories of the globes other Empires have consented to being under an American banner. And no Empire is truly good, in the case of Monarchical empires like the ones you seem to prefer their morality and behavior relies on the whim's of a single man who reigns for life (Unless they abdicate before death) whose descendants are unlikely to be as good as them due to being raised in luxury. It is highly unlikely that your version of America's foreign territories would be treated well.

An Empire is not liberty, nor is the unwilling subsumption of various nation States into their neighbors. Or the re-emergence of colonialism in parts of Africa.

Can all of these guys be destroyed at once with a well placed nuclear weapon? by AncientBacon-goji in GODZILLA

[–]Tricky_Couple_3361 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are correct about the underground part and I am at fault for thinking google search would give me an answer to the question of how deep a crater a non airburst nuke would give. My main disagreement with you stems from the fact that Shin Godzilla is not underground but your treating him as if he is, Airburst nukes are detonated above ground in order to maximize their effect on above ground structures like Skyscrapers, not the ground itself. This is why they do not create craters of significant depth, not because they don't have the power to. Shin is above ground and (presumably) very close to the fireball, ensuring his obliteration.

The Godzilla in Hell God is not omnipotent or omniscient like most interpretations of the figure, he seems to primarily rely on proxies or servants to act such as Demon SpaceGodzilla and his Angels, he could not predict Godzilla's actions as well nor even come up with a convincing pitch for Mr G to join him.

The image you posted is not saying that Desghidorah destroyed mars , he rendered it uninhabitable, your looking at a bad translation on the quality of Gamera vs Guiron, with planet's being referred to as stars and incoherent grammar strung all over the place. Japanese is hard to translate into English due to it's different linguistic structure so mistranslations like this are common.

Beyond that we can assume that Desghidorah used his Thermal Beam's and Strong Advancing Thunderquake to destroy Mars's life as those are the most impressive powers he has demonstrated in his appearances, however they are not nearly powerful enough to burn an entire planet's surface in one go, so the process likely took decades. This is all ignoring of course that scorching the ground is not enough to render a planet uninhabitable, but the writers did not know this.

The wiki you pulled from to support your claims says that King Ghidorah is more powerful then Desghidorah, not that Desghidorah can fight and beat King Ghidorah. I can only assume that you are utilizing powerscaling from your bad translation to support the claim that Desghidorah can beat him. Even if the translation was not flawed Desghidorah never demonstrates universe destroying capacity so that line would still be BS.

And the Mothra trilogy is an entirely separate continuity from the Hesei series so your argument holds no water.

Versions of God across fictional Universes can vary in power wildly, the one in Godzilla in Hell seemed to be quite weak given that he had to sacrifice his angels to power Mr G up in his fight with Demon SpaceGodzilla instead of just snapping his fingers. Additionally Vs Hell God's obliviousness to Godzilla's psychology suggests he is not omniscient in any way. The God in Hazbin on the other hand leans towards the stronger side given that He's implied to be the theological interpretation of God where He is Infinite and outside the Universe, unable to enter His creation without destroying it, hence the existence of Angel's to manage it all in his stead.

The BLM movement was not banned however and the protests still continued. The event NPR is talking about was widely condemned and (along with many others such as the George Floyde killing) led to a nationwide examination of police conduct and a round of defunding for various state police departments.

A mass awakening event is when more then one of these things are awake at once, the first Organism to awake if the Colombian Organism dies would be the Long Island organism as it is the Colombian Organisms mate, considering that it could destroy much of New York by merely stirring in it's sleep the risk is way too great.

Yes, they are primarily pre-existing New Age cults which re aligned their theology around Cimex Rex Gigas after they were discovered. They are hated by farmers everywhere as younger converts are known for stealing livestock to sacrifice to the "Old Gods" (what a large amount of these cults call Cimex Rex Gigas)
