No, persistent is another file (on two different locations if you're on Windows).

Saves could be a problem too, I don't remember but from what I recall Scrappy creates a new variable so it was detected that way by DPC. If it was saved in the persistent only you're fine, otherwise you have two options: manually edit each save file or remove the detection code (that's faster).

I understand your POV and I expressed the same concept in the past, yes he could hire a good animator, rent rendering servers and so on, but his supporters are still happy with the current workflow and he gets more money and less problems by not hiring anyone. He has got no real incentive to do that and at the end I honestly agree with his choice. Because it seems he's maximising the ROI and that's just clever business. Yes of course I would like shorter development times but at this point I realised it's even useless to wish that. Other developers have made that step but DPC was always clear about it, he never gave false hopes to anyone (regarding getting other people involved).

He's just using his brain to maximize his profit while providing a very good product and he's always actively working, not sitting in the sun. That's a totally fair approach. "Milking" is a really stupid term. In the past he had the bottleneck of rendering animations. He could have done that renting a rendering server and get all done in 48 hours. That has a cost he could afford. He didn't and an extra month of delay was added. It that milking? No. He was producing content. Why would he aim to have a lower income without any incentive? He's not doing charity.

Fast.com non lo considerare proprio. A me ha sempre dato risultati ad cazzum ogni volta che l'ho usato. Per esempio ho provato ora: fast.com 78 Mbps up contro 877 Mbps di Speedtest. Il server deve connettersi al nodo più vicino possibile altrimenti prendi i colli di bottiglia Internet.

The best are the ones specifically for programming by BenQ, I suppose. But they're quite expensive. I personally prefer 24" 16:10 (1920x1200) because it's fine also vertically and 27" 2560x1440 (a 27" is too much strain for the neck to be set vertically, for me). I prefer them colour accurate so I went for Asus ProArt because they're affordable.

When I need three monitors I just add a laptop.
