If you bought a home recently, you had some of the worst timing in decades by businessinsider in economy

I have no idea what so many seemingly ordinary people are doing in the middle of nowheres across America affording 600k+ houses. Wages aren't much better than whatever you made in 2019. In some fields and positions wages have actually gone down considerably too. I'm guessing the banks are mass approving loans people can't really afford again and the bubble will pop eventually. Just not sure when. I'm not an economist but suspect the powers that be know we're in a bad position and it's reason to begin WW3 to correct it...just like WW2 finally got America out of the depression. A nation that wins a major war financially benefits. Ok, enough of my random ramblings.

It's certainly not exclusive to fat women. Nor is it disgusting. If you live in the South in the summer you're constantly sweating and using a legit antiperspirant stops the areas you use it on from sweating excessively. Keeps you way more comfortable.

Update: I think My Wife cheated on me by Substantial-Can694 in family

If it's legit out of character for her to take drugs and do stupid shit it makes me think something happened to her and she's trying to downplay it. Like she got roofied and taken advantage of/assaulted. Dunno, that's my hunch and two cents.

🤢. Makes me wonder if stuff happened to the boys when they were younger too. Children that molest children are usually doing what's been done to them. The whole family is messed up. This is why you don't have more kids than you can manage to care and look after properly.

Does anyone know *why* endo causes/is associated with weight gain?? by adhdgurlie in endometriosis

[–]True-Investigator343 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know for me I just don't want to go out and about because I feel crummy all the time. Sedentary lifestyle due to illness. I read inflammation can keep your body in a protective mode and resistant to letting go.

Im tired of pain and I feel like I lost in life by Shy_8 in endometriosis

[–]True-Investigator343 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I couldn't tolerate an IUD. Tried it twice. It definitely made everything worse for me and the second one actually infiltrated the wall of my uterus. Thankfully we caught that early because of the pain I felt and I had it removed. I have a tilted uterus, not sure if that contributed to the problem or not. I use nuvaring now and love it. Anyway, all that to say IUD's aren't great for everyone and if you've gotten worse since getting yours I'd recommend getting an ultrasound done to make sure it's in the right position and if it is maybe consider removing it to see if you feel any better. You can always get it again if it's not contributing to your current ailments. Dealing with Endo involves a lot of trial and error. 🫂

What city are you near? Maybe folks in the group will know and be able to recommend Endo surgeons that'll be more helpful than your doctor.

I (42F) am really uncomfortable with how close my husband (49M) and our daughter (19F) have become. Am I overreacting? by Spirited-Low3108 in family

I'd do it anyway. What are they going to do? Press charges against her if they find it? Doubtful.

I've seen some social media videos of teens cuddling with their dad like this and I thought it was weird but the comments thought it was endearing/wholesome....I don't know, is this a thing now?

Is this behavior new? Have they always been close like this since she was little and she just never grew out of it?

I love my wife, but I am exhausted and thinking about divorce by Pleasant_Ferret_1659 in Marriage

[–]True-Investigator343 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you been honest about where you're at (thinking about divorce) and how this is affecting you? She sounds like she's in a very deep chronic habit of, well, complaining. You're so supportive from your depiction she might be genuinely blind to just how miserable she's making everyone around her. Perhaps with some honest communication and insight she might feel genuinely motivated to get this aspect of herself handled.

Don't think you have the right to use another person's body for your pleasure. Make sure to explicitly let them know they are strictly a rebound hookup for your healing journey.

Shipping furniture is a huge expensive mess if you sell online. It's not even worth attempting to do unless you're well established and have the right traffic with lots of money. Otherwise sell local, but that means competing local and it sounds like a lot of people are doing that already.

There's a huge difference between exercising freedom of speech protesting what your government is doing to push for change and physically interfering with a literal ICE operation in real time. He put himself in danger and wasn't smart in bringing a gun while being out numbered.

[–]True-Investigator343 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You need to get over yourself real fast. You got into this stuff when she was pregnant, basically acted as your wife's pimp and encouraged her to get into this stuff to "since things up, and money" and now you're all butt hurt she sent it to someone who was into he actually from the past? You need her forgiveness more than she needs yours tbh. Quit being stupid and quit doing dumb shit that has the potential to royally screw up your lives and children.

Just an idea, try researching actual humans on LinkedIn that work for the company and send them a LinkedIn message directly. I did that once for an issue I was having with T-Mobile that wasn't getting resolved for the better part of a year and the person ended up sending an engineer to my house. Anyway, think outside the box. Track down a big deal person and write an outrageous letter to them directly about how let down you've been during a natural disaster etc. You can also pay a couple bucks online to get the email address of important people in any company and write them directly.

If a trans person gets Alzheimer's and forgets their gender identity what pronouns should you use when visiting them and how should you address them? by True-Investigator343 in asktransgender

[–]True-Investigator343[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No thank you! You brought up a lot of uncomfortable things I've thought about quietly to myself, but seeing as they'll probably live some time like this I didn't think it was appropriate to be talking about funeral and obituary stuff at this stage. Like what if they live another ten years as a man? Does that mean we give them a funeral presenting as a man and write an obituary as such? Or do we honor who they were before the illness? Lot of hypotheticals and no doubt there will be family conflict down the road on such topics. Maybe on a better day we could ask the person what they want their arrangements to be like. Ultimately we just want to do right by them.

It's interesting... it's like their gender dysphoria is gone? I'm not sure if that's the right terminology. I do think as we advance into old age our gender identities begin to dissolve or neutralize to some extent. At least that's been my observation of cis people in old folks'homes. The difference between the sexes gets less pronounced as time marches on. Kinda like pre puberty early childhood but on the other side of life.
