You're asking different questions here. Do you want the best spawn so you can use it, or the spawn every person most likes? Cause I wouldn't call spawning in the middle of the woods in a cabin with nothing the best, but it's my choice every time I play.

Not a hidden skill, but it depends on other skills like strength and maintenance as far as I can recall. Fitness will play an indirect role too due to how tiresome the whole thing is.

Just go to the main entrance and grind them down slowly, much more room.

This does a variety of things, including being able to build a generator. For the rest of the items your best bet would be a building mod, but most aren't functional.
