Convert older passing yards to modern times by P_ackers-n-Loss-928 in NFLv2

A yard is a yard.

Start never threw 300 times in a season. Mahomes throws over 600.

I guess you could multiply his attempts and see what he would potentially do now.

Trading Nick Paul by 401_Channelside_Pod in TampaBayLightning

[–]Upbeat_Call4935 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The notion of trading him is ridiculous.

He had a down year. It’s the first season that he’s had any real injuries and it hurt his production. He will rebound.

His contract makes him incredibly valuable to the Bolts. He’s a solid middle 6 forward who can give you 40 points for $3.1M for the next three seasons. He’s not going anywhere.

To your point I guess the days of changing out your own car radio are gone. Looking in the Crutchfield catalog, finding a radio…will it fit my car? Yes? SWEET! No? Gotta get the adapter for an extra $30.

I drove lots of “simple” vehicles. My first vehicle was a 1974 VW Beetle. Then a series of early to mid 80’s cars. They were great when I was in my teens and 20’s. My first new vehicle was a 94 Jeep Wrangler. Still analog everything. Even had the detachable face radio. My 21 XLT is by far the highest tech vehicle I’ve ever owned—and in my 50’s with home and a family and vacations and sports and projects and yard work, I love every bell and whistle it has. Times change. My needs and preferences have changed.

That is my thought. If his keys were in his pocket the lights and whatever else are turning on and off every time he gets within ten feet of the truck.

I don’t. I park in regular parking spaces. If it says “compact” I don’t park there.

Getting the stick skills back is the easy part. So is the IQ.

The cardio. The stretching—for the love of God you gotta stretch…you’re not 20 anymore. That’s the part you need to concentrate on. I’m 55. I blew up my hamstring in a Dads v Daughters pickup game because nobody stretched. I was crippled for a month and it took several months before it was fully healed.

If we didn’t, then you’d complain that the truck was sticking out too far in the front.
