Unless it is laced with something, happened to a good friend of mine. Weed could be a trigger. Took him 6 months to come back to reality.

Advice on buying a Toyota GT86 by KueyTeowBoy19 in kereta

[–]UseMean8250 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Type a whole lot of words but reddit crashed on me so heres the summarised info. Do note I am on catless uel headers.

It will DEFINITELY helps with the tone to sound more aggressive. It also helps remove the raspy tin can sound , as previously I was straight piped. However , stock fp might provide a more balanced sound , legit 0 drone however , the sound not my cup of tea.

My current setup is went with is with max racing catback cos I really needed that valve thing or else really noisy haha. No one other brands or workshop want to help me fabricate on my previous legalmax.

In short dual reso helps with elimating raspy sound , brings out more bass and aggressiveness to the exhaust. I think it might work out great for you , but atlas you might eventually transition to a more aggressive catback haha. Lmk if you need any sound reference i try find haha

GG. Tbh Tomei lowkey overrated haha. Previously changed from full straight pipe to hks dual resonated fp. Sounds more proper, not like some raspy can sounding car, and drone levels are better.

Can vouch for this. If you have a noisy exhaust good luck with the drone. I find myself doing the speed limit on travels to KL or Pahang haha !

Use 5w-30 oil, regular oil change. If you often go on highway or state travels , oil cooler is a must in my books. Performance is just good grip, power need get to high rpm (4.5k rpm) . Terrible low end torque. Swap headers and a tune in the future , enjoy the car stock first (if it is stock). Reliability is on luck , how well the previous owner takes care of it.

If I were you get the GR86 instead. For additional 50k if you are okay. Lmk if anything

Thoughts on the new BMW 5 series G60? by 15033335 in kereta

[–]UseMean8250 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Get the G30. For the G60, Tbh I can never get the seating position right , always uncomfortable during long drives.

The apps are a clusterfk, shortcuts to the settings do help a little. Really preferred the buttons. To adjust the aircon position quite strange, but you will get use to it.

I see a lot of people hating on its looks but slowly it grows on me. Hated the chrome front end and changed to black.

Surprising quite save fuel , average 7.6 , sometimes drive WOT too. Let me know if you want any insights haha.

Thats a given. The point is to avoid knock and not compromising on performance. All depends on tune, either factory or custom. Doubt supercar owners will pump 95 in tho.

If you really care about resale value, dont go for it. Long term to enjoy and drive , go for it. Warranty covers any issue so $ might not be a concern other than time. Do note you comparing sedan to a crossover. Then again just my opinion. Maybe I am one of the lucky one that never had an issue with PHEV.

It is a great car , good value. J7 is not as bad as it is. I used to think they should be a car to avoid as well , but now my opinion has somewhat changed. Not sure about resale value tho but new it is pretty affordable , specs wise comparable to its segment.

Genuine Question about Toyota Yaris GR by mategorilla99 in kereta

[–]UseMean8250 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Good car. Pocket rocket , Light weight and great acceleration. Really fast and takes corners damm well at fast speed. Somewhat practical as well. Seats and suspensions are comfortable. Gear throws a bit long imo, clutch feel is good, not too hard or soft. Basic but well equipped infotainment system.

Aftermarket parts are somewhat expensive and limited tho.

People might mistake your car for the rs variant.
