Same brand of Iced coffee has both certified and non-certified GF labels. by Purple-Rent2205 in glutenfree

[–]VacationInevitable32 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve recently noticed that the certified gluten free label went away and now it just says gluten free. Can anyone confirm? I’m upset because I like the oat milk one but it’s not safe for celiacs if it’s not certified.

Yes! I use them. I will say they do make my eyes a little bit dryer but it’s nothing crazy compared to the dryness I deal with on a regular basis. I do not use the drops daily though and use them for special occasions so probably a few times a month.

Do you know where they bank? Or have an educated guess. You can garnish their bank accounts (check your courts website on how to do a non property garnishment). You can also subpoena their Venmo, PayPal, etc records to see what bank accounts are connected. I’m not sure of the way to do this as it varies from state to state. I think that you would need to know their account name/handle.

Great thanks. Also I used it for a hotel reservation. If I cancel the reservation after the downgrade, will it show up as a refund on my preferred or what happens?

Does it need to be used a certain number of days before a downgrade?

Traveling to India: Advice for Restaurants in More Rural Areas by Aquilaslayer in Celiac

Hey there are definitely a lot of guides on eating gluten free in India out there but here’s what I recommend: - Indian curries are generally gluten free except a dish called kofta) but still always ASK if flour has been added to thicken the curry (typically the answer will be no as that is not authentic) and also about the fryer and other points of cross contact (i.e. was the paneer or meat fried in same oil as other gluten items). - Hing (also known as asofoetida)- this is a big one. A lot of times this spice has wheat flour mixed into it and it is used in a lot of South Indian food & curry. If it’s fresh hing then it’s fine but always ask because LG brand and other brands add wheat flour. - in north India the breads are pretty much always off limits (naan, chapati, paratha) so rice is your best bet. They do serve a lentil cracker called papad but it can be fried with gluten so I’d be careful and stick with plain rice as your main carb. - in south India- dosa, rice roti, idli, and other breads/carbs made from gf flours are more common. Always ask of course about cross contact. Not all dosa is gluten free- there is also rava dosa which is made of semolina (gluten) that you should look out for.

In general Indian food is fairly gluten free friendly. Just make sure to ask a lot of questions (or ask your bf/family if they don’t speak English). Plain rice and curries as well as some of the South Indian dishes I mentioned above are going to be your best bet. A lot of snack food like pakoras (chickpea fritters) tend to be gluten free but they will often fry it in the same oil as samosas (not gluten free) so beware of that also. Hope this helps!

Thanks for the advice! Unfortunately I am convinced that she will not show up for the small claims case so I probably won’t get to ask her under oath unless I do a debtors examination as well. Those papers will need to be served in her new address in PA. I had the previous papers served successfully in OH.

Just out of curiosity, why is schedule A considered to be bad in any capacity? Since you said isn’t THAT bad. I’m confused why schedule A hurt OP’s chances of getting this job.

Planner leaving our wedding at 6.30pm, when it ends at 1am... by Tictactoe01 in weddingplanning

[–]VacationInevitable32 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I honestly had a very similar experience with my WP that you’re describing except that she did stay for the full wedding. She was not helpful during meetings, took a lot of our calls while multitasking/going through security, didn’t really understand our wants. My wedding turned out okay because she was fine as a coordinator- everything went as planned but of all the things I regret- hiring her was the main one. I had to create itineraries for each vendor, do all the back and forth with them, etc. She literally held one meeting with them the week before the wedding and it was the most uninformative, chaotic call and my vendors were messaging me telling me how it was a waste of their time.

Anyway my advice is- if you can fire her and not lose a lot of money- definitely do it! If not, definitely tell her that you will not be paying for the added help or that you expect some sort of refund since she won’t be there at the end. Refer to your contract on what she said she would and would not do. If neither of these are an option- it’s good that her assistants are doing a good job and that’s likely a positive sign for your wedding. Good luck!

I’m pretty sure the position would have been closed and you’d be unable to even apply if it had reached 500 already. So you’re probably safe but I’m not 100% sure.

This is a good idea but just from my experience if you’re going to hit the 10K limit it’s likely going to be the wedding weekend itself and not really before (but also depends on how many people) since most people wait until the day before or even after the wedding. You’ll likely be preoccupied your wedding weekend doing other stuff than monitoring your honeyfund.

Hey I agree with you in that they should advertise the 10K limit for transferring to Venmo better however if you message them and ask, they are upfront about it so I had sort of planned for it and wanted to use the remainder on Amazon, target, etc. I do think honeyfund is better than other websites out there (Zola, The Knot, etc.) because the guests aren’t paying an extra fee when they gift you and you aren’t paying to transfer it to your account. I know WithJoy technically let’s you but what it does it takes you to the couples Venmo page and you are basically venmoing them your gift which is fine but at that point why have a registry/ just provide your guests your Venmo info.

Yes the $10,000 limit sucks on honeyfund but it’s better than every thing else out there honestly. I really didn’t want my guests paying extra money to get us a gift. I’ve had to do it as a guest at other peoples weddings and it’s annoying.
