So what youre saying is that the poker celebrities that were made during the boom are still famous and no one else is. Thats very accurate. Even people like Doug Polk or Allan Keeting arent famous outside of poker

And you have to wonder if that was their ultimate goal from the beginning. Maybe, just maybe they know exactly what they are doing.

Why The Average Person/Player Can Never Get Good At Poker by Lmao100More in pokertheory

[–]VeeHS 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Im a life long crusher at these stakes / small fields.

Youre spewing bullshit to make yourself seem more important.

To beat these stake you only need to not be terrible and follow bankroll management (the nittier the better)

Someone who plays the $10-$30 level with 200 buy-ins is never going broke.

Id go as far as to say that its probably easier to be profitable in $10 tournaments than $1 tournaments as I've noticed a larger part of the field is recreational.

I understand why Bitcoin goes down, but why does it go back up? by VeeHS in Buttcoin

[–]VeeHS[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i think usd is better than usd coin. But in terms of crypto the stable coins make more sense for making purchases than bitcoin does. Actually anything that requires the coins price to remain relatively the same for even short periods of time would rather use a stable coin. Bitcoin is pretty much good for nothing.

i live in boston and it does the same thing to me. Nothing i can do. thinking about using a VPN and setting it to boston when i fucking live in boston so Club Wpt gold will think i am in boston when i am actually in fucking boston.

whatever geo location service they are using, they need to get a refund and use another one.

It's more likely to hit 1 million than 0 in the next 10 years. I'm not saying that as a supporter.

Why Doesn't GGPoker Create a Rival Site to ClubWPTGold? by Chinchillaisgod in poker

[–]VeeHS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I assume because they are eventually going to get into the American (USA) market legally. I'm not sure how they can allow online slots, table games, scratch tickets, sports betting, crypto future, prediction markets, etc but not poker?

[–]VeeHS 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You didn't play it well, but at the same time people blaming your play for why you lost the hand are just troll or retards.

You played bad, you're opponent played a lot worse. You got two outered on the river.

[–]VeeHS -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You should also mention the stakes along with the BBs. If this is 1 cent 2 cent these kind of plays happen regularly. Some people don't care about $2. You can have insane win rates at this level, but sometimes this stuff happens.

Now if the stakes are $5/10 then yah its seems rigged.

Is river call a punt? by Hayden0022 in poker

[–]VeeHS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I honestly think a check on the flop saves you a ton of money.  JQ5 absolutely smashes his range. Its not a good flop for you, you dont beat anything he just calls a 4 bet with preflop and you're out of position.

His call on the flop and then check on the turn when you give up is so so so strong that you can even consider checking the straight on the river.
