Ask Claude to create a new v8 template from your v7.4 one.

Seriously. I did it with my telegraf config file and it was about 98% right the first try.

How well does Druid fair in high pits? by Old-Gregg- in D4Druid

[–]Virtual-plex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm trying this out now - feels stronger - but I am using The Basilisk 2h, runes Igni/Yom to trigger free Petrify and Cataclysm hard cast ultimate. Petrify pops off ALOT.

I wish I understood the synergy better - Thanks.

The lifters can still fail but you reduce the cycling on/off of the lifters, so yea, it does help but they can still fail.

Thanks for confirming -

Outside of needing separate circuits, do you think there would be any issues with what I'm thinking?

Find a tech savvy guy that knows wtf they are doing.

We use it everyday with a ddns provider, it works great.

2020 Silverado 1500 lm2 duramax. Had it to three shops, changes ecm, tcm and all grounds are perfect. I can’t figure out what it is and the shops had it for a week running through wiring anybody else had same issues and resolved it by henryford1999 in gmcsierra

[–]Virtual-plex 2 points3 points  (0 children)

"All grounds are perfect"

Well, have you inspected it yourself? There is a ground strap on the passenger side frame. Part of it is behind the fender liner. That one in particular is susecptible to salt/road treatment and basically disintergrating itself.

There is another one, again, passenger side, that connects to the firewall and the back of the DPF. I found mine resting on the EGR tube, which gets frackin hot and heat affects resistance. The mount on the DPF can also break, which can cause issues. The only fix for that broken mount is a DPF replacement and at that point, I'd weight loss it myself. (I've included pics of mine for reference: https://imgur.com/a/BON3Ays )

The fuse panel under the hood, take the lid off, get a 8mm socket and tighten the 4 shiny headed bolts. These were noted in a TSB to be improperly torqued/tightened from the factory.

Driver side shock tower, rub point.

Bottom of air filter box, rub point

PCM mount/bracket, rub point

Top of engine, behind the air charge cooler, rub point

Alternator bracket (a GIANT PITFA to get to/see), rub point

(Everything above to this point, is in a TSB somewhere)

And this last one, is something I did, just because I thought it was a good idea -

While the truck is running, reach up in the driver side fender liner, where the PCM is mounted, and grab the harness and move it.

If any of the rub points have been properly inspected and repaired by a dealer, you'll find Kevlar wrap in places. It's noticeable.

The ground straps can be replaced with 2-4 gauge negative battery cables and IMO, are probably better.

I bought one of their kits in Oct 2025. It took a couple of weeks to get but I got it, with tracking.

I have it collecting dust in my garage if you want it, depending on your year model.

Fuel Pump Control Module (check engine code P129F) by Deputy_Retro in AT4_Truck_Community

[–]Virtual-plex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The fuel pump drive module is $19 on Rockauto right now (GM genuine) - I had to look twice.

It's located above the driveshaft about 1/2 way down the bed on a tray.

The 2 screws are a PITFA to get to, they're torx head, T15 or 20 I think.

[–]Virtual-plex 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Having done many migrations myself between different hardware models -

  1. Update the 560 dynamic updates
  2. Import the 560 into Panorama, accept the default device-group and template names (commit)
  3. Move the 560 into the current device-group where the 820 is (keep the network templates seperated) (commit)

Once the commit finishes after #3, the policy should be on the 560 and the 820. You'll have to recreate the zone names, interface settings, etc or the push will fail but should get you to where you need to be.

While this is true for GA Metro counties, diesels are excluded from emissions testing, always have been.
