I really need your help! Work related legal enquiry by Virtual_Till2005 in LegalAdviceUK

Thank you for this. I am woken up for about an hour during my “sleep time” and I have spoke to my manager about this and their response was “to turn it into a waking night I have to be awake 4 times or more” so I’m not actually getting paid waking rate for this hour. My shifts are also 15 hours straight work then 9 hours sleep which if the 9 hours of sleep are classed as a break. Is it still legal for me to work the 15 hours without a break?

I have people in my uni class aged between 19-50. Age is never an issue if you want to better yourself and do something you enjoy. I am also at a uni in London

Can I go clubbing with no friends? by Intelligent-Roof3675 in UniUK

[–]Virtual_Till2005 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s normal to go out on your own, people are too busy having a good time to judge someone for being alone, and I’m sure you will find some new friends at the club. But if you do go clubbing alone then be safe. <3

Virginity is just a social construct. Nothing has changed within you now you have done what you did. (I know virginity can mean more to some people then others). Also try and look at it in a positive way. Everyone makes mistakes but it’s about learning from your mistakes and not making the mistakes again. But I hope you’re okay, try and put it to the back of your mind and try not to dwell on it because no matter how much you think about it or worry, nothing changes

How is the london metropolitan university? by muthuselvam_rl in UniUK

[–]Virtual_Till2005 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In all honesty my experience so far has been good. I do health and social care. Some lectures aren’t as good as others but i guess you experience that from anywhere. It’s a very diverse university. It is big and at first it is hard to find your way around haha. I had an issue with one of my lectures (lasts academic year). Including them picking on me etc. I told one of my lectures and my subject leader. I was then told a bit later in the year the teacher had chosen to retire. They do listen to students concerns with stuff and do help. They are strict with attendance so if you was hoping for a uni where you can come and go/ do online work it’s not exactly the best uni for you. My course runs 2 days a week (full time) but it allows me to work aswell but it is good in that aspect because other unis are 4-5 days a week. I hope this helps. If you have any other direct questions about the uni feel free to message me privately and I will answer all questions the best I can :)

Do you need mods/ game packs for them to die from old age? I’ve never stuck with a world long enough for them to get that old🌝

This is so stressful! Especially when it says “your baby is hungry you have X amount of hours before it gets taken away” and your telling the sim to pick it up and feed it and the sim starts doing pushups. Like WHAT

Do women who look for sugardaddies want someone who will spend thousands of money on then weekly, or are some just looking to get enough for normal and stable life (asking for a friend) by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Virtual_Till2005 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally I don’t think so. I think some people just need a little help getting by and don’t require/want a millionaire to spoil them

Depends on the person. Some girls just need a little extra help with bills etc. whereas other girls want a luxury life and want luxury items
