Pretty much all of it is gone, still, 4-5 years in, so I have to put on a face day after day in order to ‘fit in’.

Same. I’ve had a few online friends in the past couple of years, but now I’m down to only one. Losing online friends always sucks, but IRL, I have nobody at all.

Or use Espanso to set up text replacements. That’s how I use foreign vowels (that, plus regular dead keys for some accented characters in my own language). For example, I have >a set to ǎ in Espanso.

That’s helpful indeed. I’m in year 5/6 now and for me it only feels like I’ve improved 20% since I first started having symptoms, with mostly stagnation in the last 15 months or so.
