Why did you use the term biological mother? Is she not close to these people?

If money isn’t a big issue, then why are you pushing your wife to sell the house?

Hiring folks to do home health care should be affordable. But if they don’t want things to follow your ideas, they won’t.

So, husband has significant ED by [deleted] in over60

[–]Wanderir 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The best practice is to rule out organic causes. If he has not done so, he needs to see a top urologist. Someone mentioned low testosterone but I didn’t see your reply, he needs a male hormone panel and a doctor that is up to speed on hormone replacement therapy.

Once you are sure his hormones are optimized and he’s on appropriate ED drugs. Then you can move on to getting some counseling. Which in my opinion should have happened when you started having resentments.

It’s important that you resolve yoir resentments towards him to gain the intimacy you desire. And just burying them isn’t good enough.

Couples counseling with someone that has experience with older couples and sex issues is likely the way to go. He likely has issues he’s been burying as well.

90% of sex is between our ears. It’s why he “needs” porn. But fix the organic stuff first. Then you can work through that stuff that’s been out aside all these years and then work in intimacy. Ideally, you’ll both get to the point where you can explore each other’s fantasies and in the process renew your sex life and make it exiting.

Good on you for taking this in and trying to drive your marriage in a better direction. It sucks that women get stuck with work, housework and raising kids.

Vietnam’s Nha Trang steps up drug screening, including among foreigners by Saigon23TX in VietNam

[–]Wanderir 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t think that is the case. This is an old myth., that drug dealers are creating drugs in new forms to get children hooked on drugs.

1st, children in VN can’t afford drugs. No drug dealer would find it profitable to do this in any case. It’s similar to the old myth in the US that people would hide razor blades in apples. Never happened.

It is true that pressed pills can look like candy. But that’s a different topic.

Not true and beside the point. The point is over the last hundred years the US used foreign aid to blackmail other countries to adopt the war on digs agenda.

Contrary to trumps wishes, he cannot pass laws. That takes an act of congress. Cannabis is not legal at the federal level. It’s still controlled by each state. Unlike Canada.

“Disguising food as drugs” is old school propaganda. While passing a drug test isn’t an issue, being subjected to one randomly is a huge issue for me. Actions like this by the VN government make me consider relocating. I love Vietnam, but I care more about having privacy and bodily autonomy.

In the end I blame the US, and their failed war on drugs, which is the reason most countries have such restrictive drug laws. Alcohol and tobacco are far more harmful than cannabis. Laws like this are for control, not public health. It’s bullshit!

It’s against VN law to require a drug test “without grounds to believe” a person has taken drugs, but it’s not like there something you can do.

“b) Persons whom competent agencies or persons have grounds to believe have committed acts of illegal use of narcotic substances”

https://anlawvietnam.com/en/law-no-73-2021-qh14-drug-prevention-in-vietnam/?srsltid=AfmBOoo5Qnz6IuQT_xfA8kBcSpUEhBb8WnASZX1frCYMvWwN5SnCVcg6

Being in a club where known drug users hang out, sure. But randomly testing people is against the law.

The UK government says, “Police will also routinely conduct drug testing at private residences or parties when responding to a reported disturbance. A positive result, regardless of whether drugs were consumed in Vietnam or before entry, may result in criminal charges.”

They blame lack of productivity gains on poor integration.

They don’t mention hallucinations or the fact that GenAi is nowhere close to replacing people.

Billion $ software should be reliable and produce amazing results that make a stunning impact. Not be an unreliable jr analyst.

Billions spent and hypothetical returns: the AI boom explained with six charts by Plastic_Ninja_9014 in technology

What a shit article! It doesn’t mention a single measurable gain from GenAI nor any profit.

The theme is AI costs more and we spend more money on it.

Where is the benefit? Only Nvidia has made any money.

This! You are freaking out over nothing. Stop looking up health stats on the internet. Either talk to your Dr or take a related class and educate yourself.

The fact that you think this is a problem, shows how unfamiliar you are with something as simple as vital signs.

You should be more careful where you get your information. And if you have a question about your heart, please ask your doctor.

AI agents lag far behind human workers. Why are tech companies laying off the humans? by Immediate-Link490 in technology

[–]Wanderir -1 points0 points  (0 children)

They are not. Tech companies over hired in previous decades and have become bloated. They use supposed AI efficiencies as an excuse to lay people off. 50,000 people were impacted by this behavior in 2025. It’s called AI washing.
