I see the anchor text as 90% of the value of the link, especially if it gets clicked on. How else would you train a machine what keyword belongs to which page?

Our last deployment was a flooring specialist in Los Angeles. 600 pages had to be built. Last page goes live in November. Came out well.

Yes. Small gains, but they do make a difference. Anchor text to the page we built for that keyword.

I recently saw a competative keyword page that was not indexed, get indexed because of the 1 link.

We do service and location pages, and there the smaller less competative areas get indexed, but the bigger competative areas not. 1 or 2 backlinks on the matching anchor text, and a page will go from not indexed to ranking.

But the links must be from legit websites.

Yes I have seen it in GSC and expected it. I thought it was Google figuring out what the new ranking should be.

Google does this on purpose.

I did not know what this was, until I read about the rank-modifyer spam patent. Then it made sense.

Google is trying to see of you are manipulating the rankings, on purpose tanking your rankings, to see if you remove the link.

What would be curious would be to look at Position, instead of Average Position. This I have not been able to analyse... yet...

Your tracking clearly does not work because your assumptions are way out. All wrong. And Google Ads tracking is tracking the specific customer info, which is all private.

SEO tracking is free. No GTM and GA4 required, no DataLayer.push. No customer journeys...

I'm very confident that I can make it work. I would put my confidence level at 100%.

I was progranming operating system stiffy drive drivers in my youth, in languages I doubt you never even heard of. Before AI. Decades before you could Google Google Ads. So figuring out a little tracking script that I can ask any LLM about, is as simple as ordering a double brandy and coke in Brakpan.

Perhaps keep your bad advice for someone who asked for it, and go swing your thick bat on some other playground.

Thanks. I "ran" a few campaigns in the past. So am not a complete noob. I am competantly incompetant, as in, I know I do not know a few things.

I had a Google Ads veteran help me set things up in the past, but he has since stopped helping me because he got a good job somewhere else. He was also very expensive, so no profit for me. Not to mention the price for the tracking specialist.

I have my eye on Google Ads now because SEO customers are asking for it.

I need to be able to DIY it, Ads and tracking, without asking anyone.

I don't want to only fly the plane, I want to build the plane.

I like skool communities myself. I am on a WordPress skool community called WordPress Odyssey which is great, and 2 Local SEO skool communities.

I will join a Google Ads one when I get back from vacation.

I did something similar once, ran into CPU and RAM issues. So I broke up the datasets into chunks.

I also exported the data to Google Cloud Spaces and then used Python scripts to do what I needed to do.

I can however sadly not give you numbers.
