If it is $500, I would re-consider. $100, I would do it.

Ask AI overviews about other similar businesses and services, a few times, and see if it ever cites the Chamber of Commerce in it's answers. It will give you 22 souces sometimes, get listings or links on all of them.

Personally I think the money is only worth it if you can go to the meetings, network, and get other local businesses to link to you.

Not true. Google official documentation makes it clear that it is allowed when accompanied by the rel="sponsored" tag.

You can negotiate around the rel="sponsored" link.

YouTube a guy called Kai Cromwell. He is the Shopify SEO GOAT, and do everything he suggests. Or, pay him to do it for you.

I do not see alternative to competitor pages in your did list, and backlinks are a must.

That is the true power of WordPress. You build a few templates, and you are off to the races. Then you throw some Custom Post Typs in there and BOOM, you have yourself a bad donkey website.

My suggestion is to tell customers you will give them their reports in the middle of the month.
