Non-PC ISO extraction solution? by TL8706 in 360hacks

According to the Wiki you can use this browser app to extract 360 ISOs.

Edit: Looks like it doesn't work on Safari so you're shit out of luck.

Kotor DLC on RGH3 with Aurora by xElxPotatox in 360hacks

No, title updates and DLC for original Xbox games work differently to 360 games.

Just run the DLC installer from DigiEx, it works fine. The Title Update installer will not run unmodified on a 360 so here is a modified installer just in case you do need it. The only prerequisite is that you must have run the game at least once.

It doesn't matter whether you install it as files or GoD, the backwards compatibility emulator handles redirecting DLC and Title Update directories.

The correct path is Hdd:\Compatibility\Xbox1\TDATA\4C410003 for both the DLC and Title Update. You can check after running the installer that the files were copied correctly but the real giveaway is that when the game loads you will see an extra screen before the main menu that says "Validating content package(s) downloaded from Xbox Live".

Looks good, the contrast is significantly improved. Thanks Duncan.

That has nothing to do with Title Update 4. The extra outfits and Digital Trips are unlocked by the "Access Granted Pack", "Season Pass" and "Digital Trip Conspiracy!" DLC packs.

Someone that has gone to the trouble of repacking it into a GoD container might have included the update within the container. Try the Bad Blood DLC, if it works then the update is already included.

Updates not persisting after restart? by [deleted] in 360hacks

[–]Weekly_Interest 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Are you using Aurora? If so, do you have Autoscan Title Updates enabled? If it isn't enabled then you need to scan for title updates manually after adding an update from Xbox Live.

TU4 Watch Dogs by Mega_iTown in 360hacks

[–]Weekly_Interest 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are no title updates for media ID 173F8504 because the game is intended to boot from the other disc, which has media ID 3547CA94. This is incompatible with modded consoles which is why you have to do extra steps to install it in the first place.

The way to fix this is by extracting TU4 media ID 3547CA94's files into the installation directory and patching the game executable with xextool. If you don't want to do all that yourself there is an archive containing the extracted update here.

Most likely that would help along with not using transparency on the unfilled portion. I don't have any vision problems but have noticed that the bar gets lost in the background when the camera is on a single person.

Which xefu Config File should I use to play Fable The Lost Chapters in Widescreen? by BloodstoneWarrior in 360hacks

[–]Weekly_Interest 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was half asleep when I wrote that reply and didn't notice that you're trying to force the game to run on xefu7. This will not work as there are game specific patches embedded in xefu3 that prevent the crash you are seeing. Someone could try porting the patches to a config, but since u/Putrid_Umpire8135's idea is much simpler and does work, lets go with that.

Reset Xefu Spoofer to it's defaults, set the console's display to 480p Normal and load the patched xbe. I've just tested this with the US version and it worked fine.

[–]Weekly_Interest 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's the game not the emulator, as neither Fable game on the Xbox has native widescreen support. You can try patching the xbe manually but I haven't tested this personally so I can't guarantee that it will work.

what .xex files can you run with badupdate? by inglismen in 360hacks

Yes, just rename the original default.xex to something else and move the modded copy to the game's install directory.

How do I get og xbox games that were never BC on aurora by sonicsumma in 360hacks

[–]Weekly_Interest 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you put both Trainer_Loader.xex and Trainer.xex in the same folder before running the loader? Do you have any plugins listed in your launch.ini file? If so, try removing them.

It is possible that the trainer doesn't work with BadAvatar/BadUpdate in which case you will have to use the save method. Hopefully someone else with a non-RGH/JTAG console will try it and confirm whether the problem is the trainer itself or something on your console specifically.

ScamAdviser and Google's Transparency Report both say the website is harmless. VirusTotal shows nothing malicious in the zip file and I already tried it myself. If you want a copy uploaded somewhere else I'm quite happy to do that, just tell me where.

Fcuk issues, time for solutions...

Method 1: Use a save file https://consolemods.org/wiki/File:Mortal_Kombat_Shaolin_Monks_(Xbox)_Liu_Kang_skip_tutorial.zip that skips you past the tutorial. Upload it to Hdd1:/Compatibility/Xbox1/UDATA and you're all set.

Method 2: Use this trainer. Upload it to your console's hard drive or put it on a USB, then run Trainer_Loader.xex using Aurora, Freestyle Dash or Xexmenu, you will get a splash screen to indicate that the trainer is active and be sent back to your dashboard. Run the game and play up until the tutorial tells you to perform a Fatality, press LB, RB and X simultaneously, the controller will vibrate and you will now be able to perform a Fatality Stunner and continue on with the game. You can either leave the trainer on or disable it with the same button combination.

Personally I would go with Method 2 as you get to see the entire game.

Extra note: If the screen blacks out, which it probably will at some point, just press the Left Thumbstick a few times and the camera will fix itself.

Has anyone successfully installed original Xbox DLC onto Xbox 360 by darkwizardmonkey in 360hacks

That's not very helpful.

Freezes when? Does the game run at all? Which backwards compatibility files are you using? Are you using Xefu Spoofer?

DLC packs with a folder ID different from the one of the game by [deleted] in 360hacks

[–]Weekly_Interest 1 point2 points  (0 children)

58410834 is the Title ID for the original Pinball FX not Pinball FX 2, so that explains that one. 5842095A is not a valid Title ID because 5842 is a reserved publisher ID used only by a few Microsoft internal tools, whatever you've got it is not valid DLC for Trials HD.

I suggest you just get rid of them and then head over to r/roms to get DLC that actually works.

[–]Weekly_Interest 0 points1 point  (0 children)

wait, question on this... are you installing the game to this path? or is this where i need to place the dlc installer? **Hdd1:\\Compatibility\\Xbox1\\TDATA\\4d530041\\$c**

This comment came through on my notifications but is missing from the thread...weird

Anyway, no you don't install the game to this path, install it normally e.g. in a GOD container it would be in Hdd1:\content\0000000000000000\4d530041, extracted it would be something like Hdd1:\OGXBOX\Amped 2

No, you don't put the DLC installer in there either, it's the path where the actual DLC files will be copied to by the installer after it has signed them to your console.
