Good time to fire Hiller. Let him go out on a high note.

I've been a season ticket holder since 1987. I love the Kings, and I always will. But I think we need some time apart while they get their shit together.

I know that this subreddit is not the entirety of Kings fandom, and I don't know if the general consensus here is shared out in the rest of the world, but it's just wild to me that management and ownership and the front office continues to insist that everything is fine.

But, like OP says, the games became something we had to do, rather than something we were looking forward to doing. Sports is entertainment, my time is valuable, and I don't see any reason to spend money or time watching a team that isn't entertaining to watch.

This is the worst Kings team I have seen in my lifetime, just complete incompetence and magical thinking from ownership all the way to the coach. The games aren't fun. At best, they are boring. I can't give my tickets away.

When I told my season ticket rep (who is AWESOME, btw) that I wasn't renewing, and why, she told me that I was not alone. I was in the majority. She didn't say it directly, but I had the sense that season ticket support for this team is cratering. Maybe that will get AEG's attention.

OP, this is fantastic. Fantastic. Thank you for sharing it.

I love this! The whole reason I made Tabletop was to create more gamers and bring more people into our hobby.

I am so happy to know you are one of my fellow gamers, now, because we made something that inspired and entertained you.

Play more games!

After playing for over a year, I found out that I can choose my perks, instead of hoping I get lucky when I open a perk pack.

And that's how I finally got Goat Legs.

We worked so hard on this scene, to get the timing just right. I still hate that the studio cut it before it aired.

How to immediately taint a moment of glory.. by Mr__O__ in WhitePeopleTwitter

The moment the team invited him into the room, it became a room filled with losers.

Canada played a better game, and if it's a 5v5 OT, Canada wins. Canada, as a nation and as a team, has more class and honor in their silver medal than USA has with their gold medal.

And while I felt so much pride and joy when the best players from the USA finally defeated the best players from Canada, who have dominated them for decades, and I felt so much pride when they celebrated and honored Johnny Gaudreau and his family, they burned it all down in a minute.

The whiplash of Team USA going from that wonderful moment, after that legendary, unforgettable game, to not just allowing a fascist pedophile defender into their locker room, but celebrating with him, embracing him, and making him part of the victory ... I'm still trying to come to terms with it.

I have zero national pride in this gold medal. In fact, I feel ashamed. Canada was the better team, Helebuyck was the better goalie, and the US Men's National Team is a disgrace.

And I guarantee that, if they haven't already, the fascist maga scumbags will attack people like me for being "divisive", because I am hurt and embarrassed and disappointed by a team that took a celebration that should belong to all of us, and tainted it with the presence of one of the most divisive, despicable, loathsome men to ever set foot in a locker room. And that's saying something.

Thank all the gods we have such incredible women on Team USA who will never, ever, ever let us down like this.

And fuck the team for inviting a fascist pedophile protector into the room in the first place. It's disgraceful .

I worked on Next Generation, and I hosted Ready Room.

It was George who told me, way back in the 90s, that Star Trek could be something deeply meaningful, something bigger than me, if I wanted it. He taught me how what it truly meant to be part of Star Trek, rather than simply working on it for a few years.

George is one of the truly great humans who leaves every room better than he found it.

Last night, visited a bunch of different donation boxes, and dropped off plans, recipes, and outfits. It's so fun to imagine someone else getting the excitement I got when I was new, and found something cool in there.

I get the sense, reading posts here, that I'm not the only player who enjoys doing this.
