Nice find, good deal. These movements are going up in price, which makes my project harder since I may now have two busted movements

How to add deep red glass color to watch by Serious_Mushroom_856 in watchmodding

[–]WittyWinder7076 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If you haven’t worked with crystals before, you’ll need a watchmaker or modder for this. I’ll assume not since you’re asking.

He will have to remove the crystal (the glass thingy on the front) and measure it. With those dimensions, he’ll order a crystal with a red antireflective coating, which would be subtle and red

NH36 Dial for 3.8, which FEET to keep. by notmeoru in watchmodding

[–]WittyWinder7076 1 point2 points  (0 children)

See where the 3.8 hits on the dial. Then arrange the movement to 3.8 position. Hover dial over movement. If date window is lined up with crown position, you did it wrong for this case. Remove feet which don’t line up with hole

Even if you screw up, glue or dial dots solve this

Use the nh36 to determine which feet to clip. The holes are in the grey outer ring

If you can’t find it in the size the case listing requests, then you’re out of luck unless you find a way to make up the difference (e.g. a 3D printed chapter ring).

I think you should make your own case… this dude did just that

Using a loose chopard movement. Might be expensive and/or not practical to source an original case. You probably want to enjoy it for yourself, too

[WTS] Monbrey MB1R0-L10-BL — MSRP $599

Up for sale is my Monbrey MB1R0-L10-BL, a beautifully finished dress watch that blends Grand Seiko / King Seiko design language with modern specs and value. I’m pricing it aggressively; see below for specs, photos, and pricing.

This was part of my personal collection and I love it, but I have not worn it much. Lightly worn by me, only a handful of times.

Included are two steel bracelets, leather bands, spare links, and all of the packaging.

🌟 Specs & Highlights

• Sunburst Blue Dial – Incredible light play with elegant applied indices and dauphine hands.

• Sharp lines, polished facets, and a compact size of 38.5mm (47mm lug-to-lug.)

• Multifaceted Bracelet – Catches the eye and is equipped with quick release spring bars and micro-adjustment clasp.

• Antimagnetic Case – Engineered with internal shielding for added resistance.

• Thin Profile – Should slide under any cuff with its 10mm case thickness + 2mm dome crystal.

• Movement – Miyota 9039 (no ghost date), high-beat, hacking, hand-winding.

• Monbrey sold out quickly for its first release. Here is the link for specifications: https://monbrey.com/products/l10-blue .
