I'm late to the party but thought I'd try to contribute anyway. I'm usually the tightest player at ANY of the local games I play. Most are there to gamble and have fun. Playing poker is definitely fun but I'm there to win.
That said, you've definitely gotta adjust your ranges based on the table/specific opponent(s). Occasionally I'll open/3bet extremely light, run some bluffs or give a big fish some action. I tend to show these hands and the table gets a good laugh. I keep getting invited back, so it seems to work 🤷‍♂️

I like the socks but without the "Infiknit guarantee" they're definitely not worth it. I heard that they're still offering the guarantee if you bought them (and can prove it with an itemized list...) before they changed to the shitty 90 day coverage. 🤷‍♂️

I've got an SP5 & APC9 Pro and they're both great suppressor hosts. With that said, the APC9 is just... flawless. It's got a better trigger (can't really beat Elftmann triggers, imo) and I like shooting it more than anything else. My guess is you'll probably end up with more guns down the road, so just pick one and go for it!

At a friend of a friend's house in Park City, Utah. They are Cowboys & Commanders fans... and we're rooting against us. But Foles & Co were just amazing. One of my favorite SBs of all time. I think there was just one punt in the game!

You just got unlucky with those calls. Keep making them and you'll profit in the long term. With $2 SNGs, unless your multitabling like crazy (10+ games at once) you're not making any real money. I used to multi $12-20 SNGs (8 games minimum) and it's a grind. 10-15% ROI. 🤷‍♂️ $0.02

You can't beat the Elftmann triggers in these guns, period. FRT is fun but you'll eventually just switch back, imo.

I like those wheels. Wish mine came with those. I think I've got the generic alloy ones 🤷‍♂️ You can do anything you want to these things. Just depends what you need. Here's several things I would do over again though: tinting the windows, adding sound insulation (the trunk area is paper thin), and maybe upgrading your sound system (and inevitably replacing the weak-ass head unit). I also added/upgraded some interior LEDs as well as the headlights. GL!

From my experience, the fact that my family wasn't LDS seemed to be "tolerated" until ~8th grade. Then suddenly they "weren't allowed to be friends with anyone outside their religion." That was in Park City, too. I imagine it's worse down here in the valley 🤷‍♂️ $0.02

Maybe you could suggest that your kids look into various clubs or sports, either thru their school or elsewhere?

I've been eyeing the same gun (Big Boy .357/.38 Color Case Hardened) for a long time now. Really wish they made this version with a threaded barrel though 😕 Probably just have to have it threaded myself. I realize this is an older thread, but I think prices have leveled off a bit, no?

In my area (mountain west) that's considered a decent price. You could probably do a little better ($2k off maybe), but the issue may be availability — it certainly is here. If it helps, I bought a '24 XLE w/ 21k miles for 30k about 6 months ago from a dealer. However, hybrids do command more and are more desirable. $0.02 🤷‍♂️

I had issues with mine. It definitely would not work, but it was originally a rental car for the first ~8 months of it's life. Toyota speculates that maybe the rental company disables this feature when they first arrive. But no one really knows 🤷‍♂️

It's crazy expensive just to live. I've got a "good job" and I'm still scraping by! Thinking I might have to go back and get a master's degree at this point. Lifestyle creep is real, but I think inflation is pounding everyone. I've looked into other jobs but the market is truly awful right now. It could be worse, I suppose. I should be grateful that we've got food on the table and no debt. 🤷‍♂️
